Cancellation Steps
On iPhone/iPad (iOS 18.4+): Settings > your name > Subscriptions > iCloud+ > Cancel Subscription
On iPhone/iPad (iOS 18-18.3): Settings > your name > iCloud > Manage Plan > Downgrade Options > select free 5GB
On Mac: System Settings > Apple Account > iCloud > Manage Plan > See All Plans or Downgrade Options
On Windows: iCloud for Windows > Manage > Change Storage Plan > Downgrade Options
On web (no Apple device): visit support.apple.com/121290 to manage online
Storage drops to 5GB free - iCloud stops syncing and backups fail until you're under the limit
You also lose Hide My Email, iCloud Private Relay, Apple Invites, and HomeKit Secure Video
Family sharing: downgrading affects all family members. Changes take effect after the current billing period ends
