Quick answer

Open Workspace Settings → Plans, scroll to the bottom, and click Cancel account. Then click through the in-app save offers (a pause, a feedback survey, and a 30%-off discount) until you reach Cancellation confirmed. Your access runs until the end of the current billing cycle. Jasper does not refund automatically — but if you email hey@jasper.ai within 7 days of the charge, it honors a 7-day money-back guarantee on that charge.

Step-by-step instructions

1

Open Workspace Settings, then Plans

Click your workspace name in the top-left corner, choose Workspace Settings, then click Plans in the left sidebar. This is the only place the cancel control lives.

2

Scroll to the bottom and click Cancel account

At the very bottom of the Plans page you'll see a "Need to cancel your account?" section. Click the Cancel account link (or the Cancel account button on the right). If you don't see it at all, your plan is billed by a team admin or through support — email hey@jasper.ai to cancel.

3

Decline the pause offer

Jasper opens a "How about a pause?" modal offering to pause your subscription for 1, 2, or 3 months instead of canceling. Click Decline Offer to keep going. Pausing only delays billing — your plan resumes and charges again after the chosen window.

4

Answer the reason survey (or skip it)

Next is a "We're sorry to see you go" survey asking why you're leaving — Missing features, Doesn't fit my budget, Not satisfied with AI outputs, Too difficult to figure out, or Other. Pick any option (or none) and click Next. There's also a "What could we have done better?" free-text box that's optional.

Leave feedback if you want, then continue

If you selected a reason, a "What could we have done better?" text box appears. It's optional — leave it blank or add a note, then click Next to proceed to the offer step.

6

Decline the 30%-off discount

Jasper makes one last save attempt: a "Budget tight?" Special Offer of 30% off for 3 months. To finish canceling, click Cancel (the dark button on the right). Clicking Accept This Offer instead keeps your subscription active at the discount.

Confirm the cancellation

You'll land on a "Cancellation confirmed. You won't be billed again." screen. Click Go to Account. The cancellation isn't final until you reach this screen — if you closed the modal earlier, you're still subscribed.

Verify your end date on the Plans page

Back on Plans, your plan now reads "Current Plan" with "Your subscription ends on [date]. Your payment method will no longer be billed." You keep full access until that date — Jasper sets every cancellation to the end of the current billing cycle.

Request a refund within 7 days (if you want one)

Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the charge you already paid. Jasper honors a 7-day money-back guarantee: after you've set the account to cancel, email hey@jasper.ai within 7 days of the charge to request a refund of that charge. It applies only to the current charge, not prior months.

Changed your mind? Reverse it by email

There's no in-app "undo cancellation" button. To remove a pending cancellation before your end date, email hey@jasper.ai and ask them to remove it. You can also resume a paused plan from the Plans tab.

Cancelling during the 7-day free trial

If you're on the 7-day trial (the Plans card shows "Trialing"), cancel through the same Plans flow. Cancelling during the trial sets it to end at the trial date and you won't be charged. A trial you don't cancel auto-converts to the paid plan you chose at sign-up and charges the card on file.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Once you complete the flow and reach the "Cancellation confirmed" screen, Jasper won't bill you again. You keep full access until the end of your current billing cycle — the exact end date shows on your Plans page. If you only closed the save-offer modal without reaching the confirmation screen, you're still subscribed, so always cancel through to the end.

Refunds are not automatic. Jasper's Terms of Service say there are no refunds for cancellation, but its help center grants a 7-day money-back guarantee: cancel your account first, then email hey@jasper.ai within 7 days of the charge to request a refund of that charge. It applies only to the current charge, not prior months or add-ons. Outside that window — for example, on an annual plan that auto-renewed weeks ago — Jasper will not refund the remaining time; you keep access until the period ends instead.

Your documents, Brand Voices, Knowledge assets, and Audiences stay in your workspace until your access ends at the close of the billing cycle. Export or copy out anything you want to keep before that date. If you reactivate later, your workspace data is generally still there, but don't rely on it indefinitely — pull a copy of anything important first.

You don't — Jasper is a web app billed by card through its own payment processor (Stripe), not sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. There is no app-store cancellation route. Cancel inside the web app at Workspace Settings → Plans → Cancel account, or email hey@jasper.ai if the button isn't there.

Yes. Jasper offers a 7-day free trial (a credit card is required up front). Cancel anytime during the trial through the same Plans flow — it will be set to cancel at the end of the trial and you won't be charged. If you don't cancel, the trial automatically rolls into the paid plan you selected and the card on file is charged when the trial ends.

Before your end date, you can email hey@jasper.ai to remove a pending cancellation, or click resume on a paused plan from the Plans tab. After your access has fully ended, sign back in and re-subscribe from Workspace Settings → Plans. Note that Jasper has shifted its public plans over time (older accounts saw a "Creator" tier; the current self-serve plan is Pro), so the price you re-subscribe at may differ from what you paid before.
