What Membership includes
- ExtraCash from $25 to $500, typically within 5 minutes; not all members qualify and few qualify for $500
- Each ExtraCash costs the greater of $5 or 5%, with no interest, late fees or credit check
- Instant transfer to Dave Checking at no extra fee; 1.5% to an external debit card
- Budgeting tools, external balance monitoring, and overdraft and low-balance alerts
- Side Hustle listings for extra income
- Needs a Dave Checking and ExtraCash account; billed monthly on the date you joined
Legacy Membership also lists
- The $1 rate of members who joined before June 2025; Dave keeps them at their existing rate
- Closed to new members, who pay $3 a month

How to cancel Dave
In the Dave app, go to Settings, scroll down and tap Membership, then cancel your paid membership (Dave's steps). Do it at least 3 business days before your next fee: the fee and the app's services stop at the end of the month you've paid for, and your Dave bank accounts stay open until you close them separately. If the screen offers only Pause membership, that isn't a cancel. Dave's terms also let you cancel by emailing support@dave.com. Deleting the app cancels nothing.
