A 9-step walkthrough with real screenshots from the live cancel flow.
In the Cosmos app, open Settings → Manage membership and tap the red CANCEL next to your Infinite Plan. Finish in Apple's Subscriptions sheet: tap Cancel Subscription, then Confirm. You keep Infinite access until the end date shown — deleting the Cosmos app does not stop billing. Full Apple walkthrough: support.apple.com/en-us/118428.
The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.

Wondering if you're paying more than you used to? side-by-side subscription pricing.
See Cosmos's pricing, tiers, and difficulty score in one page. Cosmos ranks #143 of 235 by cancellation difficulty.
In the Cosmos app, open your profile and tap Settings. On the Settings list, tap Manage membership — the row that reads "Make changes to your subscription." Cosmos does not publish a standalone cancel page; this is the in-app handoff into Apple's billing.
The Membership screen shows Your subscription with your plan name (for example Infinite Plan) and a red CANCEL control on the right. Tap CANCEL. Cosmos then opens the system Subscriptions UI — the cancel is not finished inside Cosmos.
On the iOS Subscriptions screen, find Cosmos under Active (the App Store title reads along the lines of Cosmos: Curate your universe / Cosmos Monthly Subscription). Tap that row. You can also reach the same list anytime via iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, without opening Cosmos first.
The detail sheet shows the plan name, price, and renewal date, with a red Cancel Subscription button underneath. Apple also prints that if you cancel now you can still access the subscription until that renewal date. Tap Cancel Subscription.
Apple shows a Confirm Cancellation alert with the exact date your access ends, plus Not Now and Confirm. Tap Confirm. Nothing is canceled until that second tap lands.
The sheet should now show a red "Your subscription is expiring soon" line, the expiration date, and a Renew button instead of Cancel Subscription. Write down that end date — you keep Infinite features until then, then drop to the free Cosmos account. Apple's own guidance: if you see red expiration text and no Cancel button, the subscription is already canceled.
Cancel in the Play Store, not only inside Cosmos: open Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Cosmos → Cancel subscription. Or use play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions in a browser. Google Play also lists Cosmos with in-app purchases, so Android billing is a real branch even when your screenshots are from iPhone.
Canceling stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund the period you already paid for. For App Store charges, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com (Apple Support: "Request a refund"). Approval is Apple's call and varies by region. Cancel first, then request the refund — a refund alone does not always end auto-renew.
Cosmos's Terms say you may cancel your account by emailing hey@cosmos.so. Do that only after the Apple or Google subscription shows as canceled or expired. Closing the account (or deleting the app) while Infinite is still Active leaves the store charge running with nothing on your home screen to remind you.
RecurDash keeps track of what you're paying for and emails you before each renewal — so the next cancellation happens on your schedule, not after the charge. No bank login required.
