Quick answer

DailyArt Premium and Patron bill through the Apple App Store or Google Play — there is no cancel button on getdailyart.com. Inside the app on iPhone, open the Settings tab → Subscription → Cancel Subscription, skip the "Are you sure?" retention screen, and confirm on Apple's Edit Subscription sheet. Prefer the system path? Use Settings → your name → Subscriptions → DailyArt → Cancel Subscription or the web at account.apple.com. On Android: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions → DailyArt → Cancel subscription. You keep Paid Access until the end of the period you already paid for.

DailyArt was the one you remembered

The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.

Step-by-step instructions

1

Confirm you have a recurring DailyArt Subscription

DailyArt sells two auto-renewing packages through the App Store and Google Play: Premium (monthly or annual) and Patron (annual). Check your store subscriptions list for "DailyArt," "Monthly Premium," "Annual Premium," or "Patron." One-time Tip jars and the legacy DailyArt PRO lifetime purchase are different — see the optional steps if either applies instead.

2

Do not uninstall the app to stop billing

Deleting DailyArt from your phone ends Free Access on that device, but it does not cancel a Market Subscription. Google Play's help center states uninstalling an app will not cancel the subscription. Cancel in Apple or Google first; you can keep the app installed to use the rest of your paid period.

3

On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → Subscription inside the DailyArt app

Open DailyArt, tap Settings in the bottom tab bar, then Subscription. You will see a card with Type (for example, Monthly Premium), Renewal Date, and two buttons: Change Subscription and Cancel Subscription. DailyArt also warns "If you cancel your subscription, you will lose access to your favorites and see ads again" — that reflects Free Access after your paid period ends, not an immediate loss.

4

Tap Cancel Subscription and skip the retention carousel

DailyArt opens a full-screen "Cancel Subscription" pane with a masterpiece collage, an "Apple App of the Day" laurel, and a save-offer headline. Two buttons sit at the bottom — "I changed my mind; take me back!" (the save offer) and "I still want to cancel." Tap the second one. The dots along the bottom mean more slides can appear; keep tapping "I still want to cancel" through each.

5

Confirm on Apple's Edit Subscription sheet

DailyArt hands you off to Apple's system Edit Subscription sheet. When the cancel is registered, the sheet shows a red "You have cancelled your subscription." line, an "ends on [date]" note, and a "Renew: $X/month" button in case you change your mind. Take a screenshot of the end date for your records, then tap Done. That confirmation is what stops the next renewal — the DailyArt in-app screen alone does not.

6

Prefer the system path? Cancel from Apple Settings or the web

If you want to skip the in-app carousel entirely, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then DailyArt, then Cancel Subscription. On a Mac or Windows machine managing the same Apple Account, open account.apple.com, sign in, go to Subscriptions, select DailyArt, and cancel there. Either route lands on the same Apple sheet as step 5.

7

On Android, cancel in Google Play

Open the Play Store app (or play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions on a computer), tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Select DailyArt, tap Manage, then Cancel subscription. Choose a reason if Google asks, then Continue. You keep access for the time already paid.

8

Know what Free Access looks like after the period ends

When Paid Access ends, DailyArt keeps your account (unless you delete it) and switches you to Free Access: the daily Dose of Art and limited archive browsing via swipe. Ads can return, and Paid features — full archive, search by artist or city, Favourites, and multi-device Paid Access — stop. Patron-only lectures, club access, and the Patron newsletter end with the Patron period.

If this applies to you

Legacy DailyArt PRO: you already have lifetime Premium

If you bought DailyArt PRO in the old app, Moiseum's support FAQ says you "remain PRO forever" after the move to monthly and yearly subscriptions. Log into your user account in the current app to restore that status. There is no recurring Premium line to cancel for that purchase.

If this applies to you

Family Sharing: only the organizer can cancel

DailyArt's App Store listing supports Family Sharing for some in-app purchases. You cannot cancel a subscription billed to a family member's Apple Account — the organizer whose receipt shows the charge must cancel from their Settings → Subscriptions. If Premium stops working for a shared member but the organizer is still billed, try Restore Purchases or re-login first (an App Store review documents exactly this glitch leading a household to cancel unnecessarily); actual cancellation is still the organizer's job.

Do not delete your DailyArt account to cancel

Canceling the Subscription in the Market stops renewals and keeps Paid Access until the period ends. Deleting your in-app account while Paid Access is active, per DailyArt's Terms, prevents you from using Paid Access features. Cancel billing first; only delete the account later if you also want the account itself removed (email support@getdailyart.com if the in-app delete control is missing).

Monthly donor on support.getdailyart.com is a different charge

The crowdfunding site support.getdailyart.com has a separate monthly donor option billed through PayPal or Stripe — that is not App Store Premium. To change or cancel that donation, use PayPal or Stripe, or email zuzanna@getdailyart.com. Canceling Premium in Apple or Google does not stop that donor charge, and vice versa.

Frequently Asked Questions

No — once Apple or Google shows the subscription as canceled, it will not renew. DailyArt's Terms state that canceling ends Paid Access at the end of the paid settlement period, so you keep Premium or Patron until that date, then drop to Free Access. Confirm the expiration date on the store subscriptions screen and watch the next bank statement.

DailyArt does not publish a self-serve prorated refund for mid-cycle cancels. Subscription sale and refund rules for Market purchases are handled by Apple or Google — request through reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play's refund flow. DailyArt's Terms also give Consumers a 14-day right of withdrawal from the contract with DailyArt, and say Market rules govern withdrawal for the sale of access; EU and UK consumer law may give you additional rights. For complaints about the app itself, email info@getdailyart.com (DailyArt says it responds within 14 days).

Your DailyArt account stays unless you delete it. Through the end of the paid period you keep Paid Access features (full archive, search, Favourites, multi-device). After that you stay on Free Access with the daily artwork and limited archive swipe; ads may return and Paid-only tools stop. Patron extras (online events, exclusive group, special newsletter) end when the Patron period ends. Deleting the account is a separate action from canceling billing.

That is the only way Premium and Patron are sold — cancel where you were billed. On iPhone/iPad you have two routes: (1) inside the DailyArt app, Settings tab → Subscription → Cancel Subscription (Apple's system sheet appears to finish the cancel); or (2) Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → DailyArt → Cancel Subscription (or account.apple.com → Subscriptions). Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → DailyArt → Cancel subscription. getdailyart.com itself cannot cancel a Market Subscription for you.

Tip jars are one-time Donations — they do not auto-renew, so there is nothing to cancel. Legacy DailyArt PRO (the old one-time purchase) is treated as lifetime premium after the subscription model change; log into the current app to restore it. Only Monthly Premium, Annual Premium, and Patron Subscriptions need a store cancel.

Yes. Subscribe again from the in-app paywall or the App Store / Google Play listing. If you still have an active purchase that is not showing, use the app's restore / account login path so Paid Access re-links to your store receipt. Your Free Access account and history remain as long as you have not deleted the account. US list prices (as of 2026-08-02) are Premium $4.99/month or $29.99/year and Patron $119.99/year — exact store amounts can vary by region, and Apple may show a different renewal price on the Edit Subscription sheet for canceled subs.
