Quick answer

Sign in at dribbble.com/account/orders (Account Settings → Billing), click Cancel Subscription, then wait for the cancellation confirmation page. Pro stays active until the end of the current billing period — Dribbble does not give prorated refunds for a mid-cycle cancel.

Dribbble was the one you remembered

The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.

Step-by-step instructions

1

Sign in to Dribbble on the web

Open dribbble.com in a browser and sign in to the designer (or Team) account that pays for Pro. Cancellation is handled in Account Settings Billing — not on the dribbble.com/pro marketing page, and not by deleting the Dribbble app or closing a browser tab.

2

Confirm you are on the account that owns the bill

Personal Pro and Team Pro are billed separately. If you use “Use Dribbble As” to switch into a Team, open that Team’s Billing page to stop the Team charge. Canceling only your personal Pro leaves a Team subscription renewing, and vice versa.

3

Open Account Settings → Billing

Go to Account Settings and open Billing, or jump straight to dribbble.com/account/orders. You should see your active Pro plan (Lite, Standard, or Plus), renewal date, and payment details. That page is also where Dribbble says you can confirm which plan you are on.

4

Click Cancel Subscription

On the Billing page, find and click the Cancel Subscription button. Dribbble’s help center names that control exactly — if you only see plan-change options, you may still need to scroll, or you may be on the wrong account’s Billing page.

5

Finish the cancel flow and wait for confirmation

Complete any confirmation screens Dribbble shows until you reach a cancellation confirmation page. Do not close the tab mid-flow — Dribbble’s official cancel article says to wait for that confirmation page so you know the cancel actually completed.

6

Verify Billing shows the cancel took

Return to dribbble.com/account/orders and confirm the subscription is set to end (no further renewals). You should still see Pro as active through the remainder of the period you already paid for — cancel stops the next charge; it does not cut access the same day.

7

Keep using Pro until the period ends

After a successful cancel, your Pro subscription remains active until the current monthly or annual billing period expires. Use any remaining Project Brief credits, Boosted Shot credit, InstantMatch eligibility, or Playbook features before that date if you still want them.

8

Know what happens when Pro expires

When the period ends, all Pro features are immediately hidden. Shots that used Pro formats such as multi-shot or video stay discoverable on your profile. Dribbble stores your Pro portfolio information so a later resubscribe can restore hidden features — but you cannot edit shots once the subscription has ended.

Switch or downgrade plans instead of canceling

If the bill is the problem but you still want some Pro visibility, Billing also lets you change plans. Dribbble shows any prorated charges or credits before you confirm. Downgrading keeps a paid subscription renewing — it is not the same as Cancel Subscription.

Team Pro: cancel on Team Billing, not by deleting the Team

For a Team subscription, switch into the Team account, open its Billing page, and cancel there. When Team Pro expires, the Team profile is immediately hidden from the public. Deleting the Team account also cancels its Pro subscription — and if a Team profile is deleted, Help Center warns that Team shots can be removed from personal portfolios too.

Do not delete your Dribbble account to stop Pro

Canceling Pro is Billing → Cancel Subscription. Deleting the account is a different path: Account Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account. Deletion cannot be restored. Ignore third-party “how to cancel” pages that send you to an account destroy/confirm URL — that closes the profile, it does not replace the Billing cancel flow.

Ask support for a refund within three days of a charge

Dribbble’s Subscription Refund Policy says the support team can process Pro refunds within three days of an initial or renewal charge — contact them (Help Center chat). There are no partial or prorated refunds. If you already used Project Brief credits or redeemed a partner offer, the subscription is no longer eligible for a refund.

Frequently Asked Questions

No further renewals should post after a successful cancel. Dribbble’s Pricing and Payment Terms and Pro FAQ say the subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period, then stops. Confirm the end date on Billing after you finish the flow, and watch the next statement cycle for the charge that should no longer appear.

Dribbble does not offer partial or prorated refunds. For Pro, support can process a refund within three days of an initial or renewal charge if you contact them — unless you have already used Project Brief credits or redeemed a partner offer, which voids refund eligibility. Outside that window, a mid-cycle cancel is access until period end, not cash back. EU and UK consumers may also have a 14-day withdrawal right on a new subscription under local law. Dribbble’s Terms also state a general no-refund-on-cancel rule; treat the Help Center Refund Policy as the operational Pro exception.

You keep Pro features until the paid period ends. After expiry, Pro features are immediately hidden, but shots that used Pro features such as multi-shot or video remain discoverable on your profile. You cannot edit shots once the subscription has ended. Dribbble keeps your Pro portfolio information on file so resubscribing can restore hidden features. Playbook and other Pro-only profile tools go away with Pro until you resubscribe. Deleting the account is different and permanently removes the profile.

Cancel Pro from Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription (dribbble.com/account/orders). That stops renewals and leaves your profile and shots in place. Delete Account lives under Privacy & Security and cannot be undone. Third-party guides that point at an account destroy URL are describing deletion, not the Pro cancel path. For Teams, deleting the Team account also cancels its Pro subscription — use Team Billing cancel if you only want to stop the bill.

Yes. Dribbble’s help article on single-month use says every plan renews until you cancel, so if you only want one month (or one year on an annual plan), cancel in Billing before the next charge. There is no separate “one month” SKU — monthly Pro Lite ($8), Standard ($16), or Plus ($199) renews each month unless you cancel.

Yes. After Pro ends, Dribbble continues to store your Pro portfolio information and says hidden features become available again when you resubscribe. Return via dribbble.com/pro or Billing and pick Lite, Standard, or Plus. If you canceled but the period has not ended yet, you can often reverse course before expiry by resubscribing from Billing — confirm on the page before paying again.
