Quick answer
Sign in at dazn.com/myaccount, open Subscription, click Cancel subscription at the bottom, then Continue. Pick a reason, click No thanks on the offers, and enter your password to Cancel subscription. That stops the renewal, not necessarily the payments: on an annual Pay Monthly plan the instalments carry on until the 12-month contract ends, and Monthly Flex has a 30-day notice period with a pro-rated last charge. If Apple, Google, Roku or Amazon bills you, cancel with them instead.

Step-by-step instructions
-
Sign in and open Subscription in My Account
Go to dazn.com/myaccount in a web browser and sign in, or open the DAZN app, tap the profile icon at the top right and choose My Account. Click Subscription. Before going further, note two things this page shows: your plan type (Annual - Pay Monthly, Annual - Pay Upfront or Monthly Flex) and the subscription end date. They decide what you still pay after canceling, which the plan steps below explain. If you see no DAZN subscription here but are still being charged, Apple, Google, Roku or Amazon is probably billing you; see the step for that below.
-
Click Cancel subscription, then Continue
Scroll to the bottom of the Subscription page and click Cancel subscription, then Continue. DAZN's help center gives the same steps for both annual plans and for Monthly Flex. If the link isn't there, DAZN's other route is See Plan Details, then the Manage Subscription dropdown arrow, then the on-screen instructions.
-
Choose a reason for canceling
DAZN asks you to choose a reason for canceling before it moves on. Pick whichever fits and continue to the next screen.
-
Click No thanks on the offers
DAZN then shows a list of offers. Check out this offer keeps your subscription on the offer's terms; No thanks moves you on to the last screen. If one of the offers is a move up to Ultimate, DAZN says an upgrade takes effect at once and starts a new 12-month contract.
Heads up: This is DAZN's retention screen, and subscribers describe clicking through several pages of offers. Keep choosing No thanks until DAZN asks for your password: nothing is canceled until you finish that last screen.
-
Enter your password and click Cancel subscription
Type your DAZN password and click Cancel subscription to finish. DAZN says you keep access until your selected cancellation date. Then reopen My Account, then Subscription, check the end date and the next payment date, and keep a screenshot and any confirmation email. On a contract plan a payment can still be scheduled after you cancel; the steps below explain why.

If this applies to you
If you're on an annual plan: canceling stops the renewal, not the payments
Annual - Pay Monthly and Annual - Pay Upfront are both 12-month contracts, and every Ultimate plan is one of the two. DAZN's help center says canceling Pay Monthly before the term ends "will only stop the future renewal and not the current billing cycle", so the monthly payment ($24.99 on Standard and $49.99 on Ultimate in the US) keeps coming until the 12 months are up, and Pay Upfront isn't refunded. Timing still matters: DAZN's US terms renew a contract for another full term unless you give at least 30 days' notice before it ends, so cancel well before the end date on your Subscription page, ideally as soon as you know you won't renew. Ultimate can't be moved down to Standard until its 12 months are over.

If you're on Monthly Flex: expect one more, pro-rated charge
Monthly Flex has a 30-day cancellation period. DAZN says your access runs to the end of those 30 days, and its US terms charge a pro-rata amount on your last billing date for the days past your last full billing period. The upshot: whatever day you cancel, you pay for access until 30 days later, so the usual habit of canceling just before renewal works against you here. It only pushes the end date into the next month, so cancel as soon as you're done. DAZN says the extra charge is usually lower than your regular monthly fee. Its help center also lets you pause Monthly Flex instead; under the terms, a paused subscription restarts by itself on the date shown in My Account and bills again from then.

If this applies to you
If you got the 8-day free trial with a pay-per-view
DAZN's free trial comes only with a pay-per-view purchase, and Ultimate has none. The trial is free, but the PPV is a separate one-off payment. Cancel the same way, from My Account, then Subscription, before the 8 days end and DAZN says no subscription charge applies; if you cancel before the PPV event, you can still watch it live during the trial. Miss the end date and the trial becomes a paid monthly subscription at the standard monthly fee, which then needs the 30 days' notice above. One older DAZN support page says 7 days, so check the trial end date in My Account.

If Apple, Google, Roku or Amazon bills you
DAZN says it can't cancel a subscription another company bills, so cancel on that platform. iPhone or iPad: Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, then DAZN, then Cancel Subscription. Apple TV: Settings, then Accounts, then Subscriptions. Android: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Roku: go to my.roku.com/subscriptions, select DAZN, then Manage subscription and Turn off auto-renew, or highlight the DAZN app, press the Star button on the remote and do the same. Amazon: Memberships & Subscriptions in your Amazon account. Ultimate is sold only through DAZN's own billing, so an Ultimate plan always cancels at dazn.com.

If you can't find the cancel option, or you're still charged
The Subscription page lists your plan type, start date, next payment date, end date and payment history, and DAZN says a charge after canceling is usually the rest of an annual contract or Monthly Flex's notice period. If there's no Cancel subscription link, which some subscribers report, or Manage Subscription only offers an upgrade, use DAZN's live chat: click the chat icon at the bottom right of the help center. A virtual assistant answers first and can pass you to an agent; subscribers say typing that you want to talk to a human works. Keep screenshots of the chat and of your end date.

Don't stop paying instead of canceling
Reddit is full of advice to swap in an empty card or block DAZN at the bank. On a US contract plan paid monthly, that can cost you more: DAZN's US terms say that if an instalment is still unpaid 5 days after it's due, every remaining payment to the end of the minimum term becomes due at once, and DAZN can collect it from any payment method you've given it, including when you subscribe again later. Dispute a charge with your card issuer only when it comes after your contract ended or after a cancellation that went through, and bring your screenshots.
