Go to tidal.com, sign in, hover over "My Account" and select "Manage Account"

Scroll to "Your Subscription" and click "Cancel subscription"

Confirm the cancellation

Your account, playlists, and favorites are preserved if you resubscribe later

Tidal no longer has a free tier (discontinued April 2024) - there is no fallback after cancellation

Offline downloaded content becomes unplayable after your billing period ends

If subscribed through Apple, Google, Sprint, or Boost Mobile, cancel through that platform instead

Warning: deleting your Tidal account (different from canceling) permanently destroys all playlists and history
