Check which platform bills your TradingView plan

TradingView sells Essential, Plus, Premium, and Ultimate on the website and as in-app purchases. Check a recent receipt or bank/App Store statement: a TradingView / Braintree / PayPal charge means web billing; an Apple or Google Play receipt means the store owns the subscription. Cancel on the same platform that charges you — using the wrong path leaves the renewal running.

On the web: open Settings → Subscriptions

Sign in at tradingview.com/settings/#subscriptions (Settings and billing → Subscriptions). You should see your active plan and renewal details. Mobile-app purchases will not be cancellable here — TradingView's help center says those can only be managed in the store.

Click Cancel subscription

Choose Cancel subscription on the Subscriptions page. TradingView turns off auto-renewal; you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you already paid for, then it stops. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date.

Verify the end date and that renewals stopped

After canceling, confirm the date your paid access ends on the Subscriptions page (or in the confirmation UI). You should not be billed again for that plan after that date. Watch the following statement anyway — surprise annual renewals are a common complaint when people cancel too close to the due date.

On iPhone: open Menu → Settings

If you subscribed through the TradingView iOS app, cancellation is an App Store job. Open the TradingView app, tap Menu in the bottom bar, then open Settings. You'll see Subscription at the top of the list (above Watchlist, Chart, and the red Delete account row).

Open Subscription

Tap Subscription. The Subscription screen shows Change plan with your current tier (for example Essential, monthly), the next billing date, and a Manage subscription control. Change plan is for switching tiers — it is not cancel.

Tap Manage subscription and cancel in Apple Settings

Tap Manage subscription to jump into Apple's subscription manager (or go manually: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → TradingView). Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm. TradingView's mobile help states in-app purchases are cancelled in the corresponding store; you keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for. App Store refunds go through Apple, not TradingView support.

Don't confuse Change plan with canceling

From Subscription, Change plan opens Upgraded plans with tier cards and an Upgrade button. That flow changes what you pay for — including copy about leftover days being refunded when you switch plans. It does not turn off auto-renewal. If your goal is to stop billing, leave this screen and use Manage subscription (App Store) or Cancel subscription (web) instead.

If you subscribed through Google Play

Same rule as iOS: Play Store owns the bill. Open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → TradingView → Cancel subscription, or use play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. TradingView's website will not cancel a Play-billed plan. On Android, TradingView also documents a pause option for Play purchases (pause takes effect after the current cycle) if you want a break instead of a full cancel.

Cancel during a free trial

On a web trial, go to Settings → Subscriptions → Cancel trial. TradingView's policies say the trial and associated services stop immediately when you cancel (separately purchased data packages can remain). On an App Store or Play trial, cancel auto-renewal in the store at least 24 hours before the trial ends. A trial can be used only once — if you cancel the trial and later subscribe, payment starts immediately with no second free trial.

Ask for a refund inside the published windows

TradingView's policies: annual plan refunds within 14 calendar days after payment; monthly plan refunds within 7 calendar days. Contact support for web billing. App Store purchases can only be refunded by Apple; Google Play refunds follow Google's terms (TradingView also notes Play refunds can be requested in the store or on their platform). Filing a chargeback or dispute makes you ineligible for a TradingView refund under their policy. EU/UK users may also have a 14-day statutory withdrawal right on a new distance contract — that is separate from TradingView's published windows.

When the paid period ends, the account drops to Free (Basic) limits — fewer charts per tab, indicators, historical bars, and alerts. Your login, saved layouts, watchlists, and published ideas stay with the account on Free; you simply lose Essential/Plus/Premium/Ultimate feature caps. Export or screenshot anything that depends on paid-only limits before the end date. Separately purchased exchange market-data packs can outlast the plan cancel per TradingView's trial-cancel notes — cancel those add-ons on their own if you do not want them renewing.

Cancel in the store that charged you.
