Quick answer

Open Amie's Workspace Settings → Billing, click Cancel on your active subscription, click Continue past the two retention screens, then click the small Cancel subscription link at the bottom of the "Change to a cheaper plan" offer. You keep access until the end of your current term — Amie does not refund the unused time.

Step-by-step instructions

1

Open Billing and click Cancel

In the Amie web app, open Workspace Settings and click Billing in the left sidebar. The Subscriptions panel lists your active subscription — click Cancel in the top-right corner of that card.

Continue past the first retention screen

Amie shows a founder message titled "Amie no longer offers a free plan" next to a "What's new" panel. This is a save screen, not a step in canceling — click Continue (the blue button) or the ✕ to move on.

Continue past the second retention screen

The next screen replays your "Amie journey" — when you joined, meetings recorded, todos created. It's designed to make leaving feel like a loss. Click Continue.

Ignore the downsell and click Cancel subscription

Amie now offers "Change to a cheaper plan" with a Downgrade button and a "2 months free with yearly" toggle. The actual cancel link is the small Cancel subscription text at the very bottom of this screen — click it.

Confirm your end date

Your subscription card updates to show when access ends — at the end of your current paid term, or at the end of your free trial if you're still in one. You keep your plan's features until that date. A Renew option appears if you change your mind.

If you're still in the 7-day free trial

Amie has no free tier — just a 7-day trial. Cancel any time before the trial end date shown on the card and you won't be charged; access continues until that date. The same Billing → Cancel path applies during the trial.

Prefer to cancel by Stripe portal or email

Amie bills through Stripe on the web — there is no Apple App Store or Google Play subscription to cancel. Use the "Manage … via Stripe" link on the Billing page to cancel from the Stripe portal, or email care@amie.so to request cancellation.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Canceling stops the auto-renewal, so Amie won't bill you again. You keep access to your plan's features until the end of your current subscription term — there are no prorated refunds for the unused time. The exact end date appears on your subscription card right after you cancel.

Amie's terms (§3.5) state that refunds are not offered "except as required by law." So there is no voluntary or partial refund for the remainder of a term you cancel — you simply keep access until it ends. The exceptions: the EU/UK 14-day right of withdrawal for recent purchases (email care@amie.so within 14 days), and §7.2, which grants a pro-rata refund only if Amie terminates your account without cause.

Your data stays in your account. When the paid term ends, paid features (AI meeting notes, bot-free recordings, AI scheduling, custom templates) stop working, but your connected calendars and todos remain. Because Amie no longer has a free plan, canceling ends paid access entirely rather than dropping you to a free tier.

Yes. Amie offers a 7-day free trial instead of a free plan. Cancel before the trial end date shown on your subscription card and you won't be charged — the card will read "After your free trial ends on [date], this subscription will be canceled." The cancel path is the same: Workspace Settings → Billing → Cancel.

Amie bills via Stripe on the web, so there's no App Store or Google Play subscription to manage. Beyond the in-app Billing → Cancel flow, you can click "Manage all your personal information and subscriptions via Stripe" on the Billing page to cancel from the Stripe customer portal, or email care@amie.so to ask their team to cancel for you.

Yes. After canceling, your subscription card shows a Renew option that reactivates the same plan. If your subscription has already lapsed, you can resubscribe from Workspace Settings → Plans. Note there's no free plan to drop to in the meantime, so you lose paid access once the term ends until you renew.
