Sign in and open your account

Go to blueapron.com and log in. Click the account icon in the top-right corner, then open the Blue Apron+ section from the left sidebar (under ACCOUNT). This is the membership add-on — it's separate from your meal-kit deliveries, which live under "Autoship & Save" / "Subscribe & Save."

Find your plan and the cancel link

In the Blue Apron+ tab, scroll to the YOUR PLAN section. You'll see your plan and renewal date (for example, "Monthly – $9.99/month, Renews on Sep 26"). Below the payment method and payment history, there's an orange "Cancel Blue Apron+" link at the very bottom — Blue Apron buries it under a wall of upsells for Autoship and Tastemade+.

Confirm in the "Are you sure?" pop-up

A modal asks "Are you sure you want to cancel?" and warns that "If you cancel today, your Blue Apron+ perks will end immediately" — listing free shipping, Tastemade+ streaming, and members-only perks. Click the blue "Yes, please cancel" button to proceed. ("No, nevermind" backs out.)

Fill out (or skip) the reason survey

After confirming, Blue Apron shows "Your Blue Apron+ Membership has been canceled" along with a short survey: "Help us understand why you are canceling." Options include "too expensive," "I don't order from Blue Apron enough," "the perks are not appealing," "switching plans," "no longer need it," and "Other." Pick any that apply — or none — then click Submit. The cancellation is already done at this point; the survey is purely optional feedback.

Submit and confirm cancellation

Once you select a reason, the Submit button turns blue. Click it to finish. You'll land on a "Missing your Blue Apron+ Savings?" screen with a "Rejoin Blue Apron+" button — confirmation that you're no longer a member.

Verify you are no longer billed

The final screen shows "Missing your Blue Apron+ Savings?" with a Rejoin button and a recap of the perks you gave up. Re-open the Blue Apron+ tab later to confirm it no longer lists an active "Member" plan or a renewal date. If you want a paper trail, screenshot this page — Blue Apron does not send a separate cancellation email for the membership in every case.

Your meal-kit subscription is separate — cancel it too if needed

Canceling Blue Apron+ only stops the $9.99/month membership. It does NOT stop your meal-kit deliveries. To stop boxes from shipping (and being charged for them), you also need to cancel or pause your meal plan under "Autoship & Save" / "Subscribe & Save" — that's a different flow. If you're trying to leave Blue Apron entirely, handle both.

You can rejoin anytime with the "Rejoin Blue Apron+" button on the membership page, or through the same Blue Apron+ tab. New members get a 30-day free trial; whether you qualify again after canceling depends on whether you've used a trial before.

Blue Apron's help center, however, says benefits "remain active until the end of your current billing cycle." Because the in-app screen is what actually processes the cancellation, plan around the "immediately" warning: cancel as close to your renewal date as you can rather than right after you've been charged.

Blue Apron does not advertise prorated refunds for the membership, and the cancel screen frames perks as ending immediately rather than promising a refund of unused days. If you were charged in error or just renewed, contact Blue Apron support (blueaponsupport.zendesk.com or 1-844-462-8299) and ask — but don't count on an automatic refund. The safest move is to cancel before the renewal charge hits.
