Quick answer

Where you cancel depends on who bills you. Apple or Google subscribers cancel in their phone's subscription settings. If you paid Bumble directly by card, PayPal or Apple Pay, open the Bumble app and tap Profile, then Subscription details, then Manage your subscription. Bumble's website no longer has a sign-in, so it can't cancel anything (Bumble's cancel help page). Your perks run until the end of the period you paid for, and renewals aren't refunded.

Work out who bills you

Bumble has three cancel routes, and only the one that matches how you paid will work. Check your card or bank statement: an Apple or Google Play line means the store bills you, and a Bumble line means you pay Bumble directly. You can also look for Bumble in your iPhone's Subscriptions list or under Payments & subscriptions in Google Play. If Apple or Google Play bills you, use the matching optional step below.

Paid Bumble directly: open Subscription details in the app

If you paid with a credit or debit card, PayPal or Apple Pay, the cancel option is inside the Bumble app. Open the app, tap the profile icon, and select Subscription details. Don't go looking for it on bumble.com. Bumble has discontinued its web version, and the site now shows only a prompt to download the app, with no sign-in button. Old instructions that tell you to log in on the website no longer work.

Tap Manage your subscription and cancel

From Subscription details, tap Manage your subscription and choose to cancel. Follow the confirmation prompt to the end, and don't close the app before the cancellation is confirmed.

Check the end date

After you cancel, you keep your paid perks until the end of the period you already paid for, and Premium can keep showing as active until that date. That's expected and doesn't mean the cancel failed. Check Subscription details in the app, or the subscription entry in Apple or Google, to confirm it now shows an end date instead of a renewal date.

Apple billing: cancel in iPhone Settings

Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. Find Bumble and tap Cancel Subscription. Apple handles this billing, so the Bumble app has no cancel button for it.

Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal

Bumble subscriptions renew automatically unless they are canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. If your renewal is tomorrow, cancel today. Weekly plans renew fast, so a cancellation left for the last evening can miss the cutoff.

Can't get into the app? Ask support to cancel

Bumble's support team can cancel for you. In the app, open your Profile, tap the question mark icon in the top right, scroll down and tap Start Chat. Without the app, use the Chat with us widget at the bottom right of any page on support.bumble.com. Include your Bumble User ID: Profile tab, Settings, scroll to the bottom, double-tap the Bumble logo, and tap to copy the number.

Watch your next statement

Check your card or store statement around the date your subscription would have renewed. If Bumble still charges you after a confirmed cancellation, contact support with the confirmation and the charge details. Card subscribers can also dispute the charge with their bank.

Want money back? Request a refund separately

Canceling only stops the next renewal, so a refund needs its own request. Apple decides refunds for App Store purchases at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Google Play, open the Bumble purchase under Payments & subscriptions and tap Request a refund. For card, PayPal, Apple Pay or older Bumble web payments, contact Bumble support with your order number, the email or phone number on your account, your User ID, the payment method and a short reason. Bumble's terms say purchases are generally nonrefundable and renewals are never refunded, but the exceptions are worth checking (see the refund FAQ below). If Apple or Google approve a refund, you may lose access immediately.

Don't delete your account to stop billing

Bumble's help center warns that subscriptions may not cancel automatically when you delete your account, and its terms say the same about deleting the app. The same terms also say that deleting your account cancels any subscription immediately and forfeits the rest of it with no refund. Either way, cancel the subscription first, using the steps above, and delete the account afterwards if you still want to. A deleted account can be restored through support for up to 28 days.

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases. Google handles Play Store refunds outside the US. Bumble support handles everything else. Your profile stays. Bumble's terms state that canceling a subscription does not remove your profile, because the app works without one. You lose the paid features when the period ends: for Premium that means the Liked You queue, Advanced filters, Incognito Mode and Travel Mode, plus the Boost extras such as unlimited likes, weekly SuperSwipes and Spotlight. You can subscribe again from your Profile tab at any time.

Yes, and you should cancel before the trial ends if you don't want to pay. Bumble's terms say a free trial converts into a paid, auto-renewing subscription unless you cancel before the trial period ends, through the same route you signed up with. Deleting your account or the app does not cancel a trial. If you have already used a free trial through the App Store or Google Play, you aren't eligible for another one.
