Where you cancel depends on where you subscribed. Billed through Apple? Go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Centr > Cancel Subscription — the Centr app's own cancel flow just sends you there. Subscribed at centr.com? Work out who actually bills you

Centr sells through three platforms — Apple, Google Play, and centr.com — and each has its own cancel path. Check your receipts: emails from billing@centr.com mean a web subscription, "Receipt from Apple" means App Store billing, and Google Play receipts mean Android billing.

Open the Centr app and tap Profile

In the iOS app, tap Profile in the bottom-right of the tab bar, then tap Subscription in the list between Account details and Preferences.

Tap Cancel Subscription

The Subscription screen shows your active plan and next payment date, with a note that App Store subscriptions are managed in your iTunes account settings. Tap the red CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION text beneath it.

Fill in the exit survey

A "Before you cancel your subscription" screen asks why you're leaving — technical issues, found another product, too expensive, don't use it enough, or Other. The Submit and Continue button stays greyed out until you pick a reason, so select one and tap it. The free-text box is optional.

Get past the "Are you sure you want to leave?" screen

Centr shows a photo of Chris Hemsworth and asks if you're sure, with the note "Please cancel your subscription in your Apple subscription settings." Tap the red CANCEL IN SETTINGS button — not "No thanks, stay subscribed". The fine print confirms your account stays active until your current subscription expires, and you won't be charged after that.

Finish the cancellation in Apple's settings

CANCEL IN SETTINGS hands you off to iOS. In Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, find Centr, tap Cancel Subscription, and confirm when Apple prompts you. Centr support cannot do this for you — Apple controls the billing.

Verify it says "Expires", not "Renews"

Go back to Settings > your name > Subscriptions and check the Centr entry. If it reads "Expires on [date]" you're done. If it still says "Renews on [date]" with a price, the cancellation didn't process — run it again. Apple needs the cancellation at least 24 hours before your renewal date to guarantee you skip the next charge.

Log in at centr.com, click Settings in the top-right menu, select Subscription, click Cancel Subscription and confirm. If you can't log in or can't find the button, email hello@centr.com with the subject "Cancel Subscription" and your account email — support processes it and replies with a written confirmation that no further payments will be taken. The same 24-hours-before-renewal rule applies.

Open the Play Store app, tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, find Centr, tap Cancel subscription and confirm. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal, then check that the entry shows "Expires on" rather than "Renews on".

If you bought Centr equipment with a bundled trial

Equipment from shop.centr.com comes with a 3-month app trial code, and trial subscriptions roll into a paid plan automatically unless cancelled. "I only bought equipment, why am I being charged monthly?" is a common enough question that Centr has a help article for it — set a reminder for a few days before your trial code expires.

No — once the cancellation is processed you keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for, then billing stops. The catch is timing: Apple, Google, and Centr all want the cancellation at least 24 hours before your renewal date. Cut it closer than that and one final charge can still go through. Reddit's r/CentrFitness has years of "renewed without warning" posts, so verify the "Expires on" status rather than assuming.

Centr's billing terms are blunt: no refunds or credits for unused subscription periods, accidental purchases, or medical conditions unless required by law. In practice there's one documented exception — for web (centr.com) subscriptions, support can refund your most recent charge if you email hello@centr.com with a "Cancel and Refund Request"; anything older than the latest renewal is off the table. Apple-billed charges must go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Google-billed ones through Play Store refund requests — Centr can't touch either. EU/UK consumers also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal on new sign-ups.

Check your receipt emails. Receipts from billing@centr.com or "Centr" mean you subscribed on the website and cancel at centr.com (or via hello@centr.com). "Receipt from Apple" means App Store billing — cancel in iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Google Play receipts mean you cancel in the Play Store app. The Centr app's Subscription screen also says which platform manages your plan.

Yes — cancel any time within the 7 days and you won't be charged, but Apple and Google both require the cancellation at least 24 hours before the trial ends, so treat it as a 6-day window. Trials are tied to your Apple or Google account, not your email, and you only get one: Centr's terms say attempting a second free trial triggers an immediate charge at the standard subscription price. Any unused trial days are forfeited if you buy a plan mid-trial.

Your account and login survive — cancelling stops the billing, not the account. You keep full access to workouts, programs, and meal plans until your paid period ends; after that the content is locked but you can log back in and reactivate whenever you want. If you want the account itself gone, that's a separate data-deletion request to Centr support.

Yes — resubscribe any time through the app stores or centr.com, and your account picks up where it left off. Two things to know before you do: the free trial won't apply a second time (one per Apple/Google account, and a second attempt charges you immediately), and prices differ by platform — the 12-month plan is $119.99 through the App Store versus $159.99 on centr.com, so it pays to compare before you commit.
