Quick answer

Flighty Pro bills through Apple only. In the app open Settings → Flighty Pro → Manage Subscription, then tap Cancel Subscription on Apple's Edit Subscription screen — or go straight to apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. You keep Pro until the paid period ends; your flights stay on the Free plan.

Flighty was the one you remembered

The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.

Step-by-step instructions

1

Open Settings in the Flighty app

Open Flighty on your iPhone and go to Settings. At the top you should see a Flighty Pro row with a PRO badge and Member status — that is the entry to billing, not a dead end.

2

Tap Flighty Pro

Tap the Flighty Pro row. Flighty opens a Flighty Pro screen with a short product blurb, your current plan, and the renewal date. Flighty shows status here for convenience, but Apple remains the source of truth for billing.

3

Tap Manage Subscription

On the Flighty Pro screen, scroll past Upgrade to Annual and Save and View Lifetime Plan. Tap Manage Subscription at the bottom — that hands you off to Apple's subscription controls.

4

Tap Cancel Subscription on Apple's Edit Subscription screen

Apple opens Edit Subscription for Flighty – Live Flight Tracker with your plan name, price, and renew date. Tap the red Cancel Subscription control. The caption under it states you can still access the subscription until the date shown.

Confirm cancellation and note your access-until date

On Apple's confirmation sheet, confirm Cancel Subscription — not Keep Subscription. Then reopen Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Flighty (or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions) and check that you see an expiration date instead of a renewal date. Pro features stay on until that date, then you drop to Free.

Or cancel straight from your Apple Account

You can skip Flighty's screens entirely. Open the iOS Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Flighty → Cancel Subscription, or manage renewals on the web at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Apple's steps match support.apple.com/en-us/118428.

Bought Lifetime? There is nothing to cancel in Subscriptions

Lifetime Flighty Pro is a one-time App Store purchase, not a recurring subscription. It will not appear under Apple Subscriptions. If you also still have a Weekly or Annual plan active, cancel that recurring plan separately — Lifetime does not auto-stop an older subscription.

Unlimited Family: only the organizer can cancel

If Flighty Pro is shared through Apple Family Sharing / Unlimited Family, the family organizer's Apple Account owns the subscription. Members cannot cancel the organizer's bill. The person whose Apple receipt shows Flighty must cancel in their Subscriptions list.

Need a refund? Ask Apple — and do not uninstall to stop billing

Canceling stops future renewals; it is not automatically a refund. Flighty's help center says all refunds go through Apple (getsupport.apple.com or Report a Problem), and Flighty will approve if Apple asks. Deleting the Flighty app does not cancel the subscription. For status questions, use Settings → Send Feedback in the app — Flighty says they typically reply within 24 hours.

Frequently Asked Questions

No — once Apple shows an expiration date instead of a renewal date, the next period should not bill. You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, then drop to Free. Flighty cannot stop an App Store renewal for you; if you only closed the app after Manage Subscription without tapping Cancel Subscription, auto-renew is still on.

Canceling is not a refund. Flighty's help center is explicit: refunds must be requested from Apple because Apple handles all billing, and Flighty will approve if asked. Use Apple Support / getsupport.apple.com or Report a Problem on the purchase. There is no prorated cash-back from Flighty for unused days — you keep Pro until the paid period ends. EU and UK buyers may also have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right on new App Store subscriptions under consumer law.

They stay. Flighty's help center says you move to the Free plan with basic tracking; Pro features like push alerts, Delay Predictions, calendar sync, and Live Activities pause, but your flights and data are not deleted. Reactivate Pro anytime to restore those Pro features on the same history.

Every consumer Flighty Pro subscription is App Store billed — there is no separate Flighty website cancel button. Use Settings → Flighty Pro → Manage Subscription → Cancel Subscription, or iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Flighty → Cancel Subscription, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Lifetime purchases do not appear in Subscriptions because they are not recurring.

Flighty's help center advertises that your first flight includes Flighty Pro for free with no credit card or signup — that is not the same as an App Store free trial that auto-converts to a paid plan. If Apple did start a free or discounted trial on your account, cancel it at least 24 hours before it ends (Apple's rule) using the same Subscriptions path so it does not renew into a paid week or year.

Yes. Subscribe again from the Flighty app or flighty.com/pricing at the current App Store rates (US catalog: Pay-As-You-Go about $4.99/week, Unlimited Annual $59.99/year, Unlimited Family $119/year, or Lifetime $299 one-time). Your flight history remains on Free while you are canceled. If a purchase does not reappear after buying, use Restore Purchase on the Flighty Pro screen.
