A 10-step walkthrough with real screenshots from the live cancel flow.
Cancel on the platform that bills you. On iPhone, open Runna Profile, tap your Premium status card, tap Cancel Subscription, then Yes, Cancel — or go straight to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Runna. You keep Premium until the paid period ends; canceling does not refund the current cycle.
The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.
No bank login.

See Runna's pricing, tiers, and difficulty score in one page. Runna ranks #99 of 235 by cancellation difficulty.
Check a recent bank, App Store, Google Play, or Strava receipt before you start. Standalone Runna Premium cancels through Apple, Google Play, or the Paddle web portal. The Strava + Runna joint annual bundle cancels through Strava — Runna cannot turn that off. In the app, Profile → Settings → Subscription shows which platform manages your plan.
In the Runna iOS app, tap your profile picture (top-left). Under your name you should see a Runna Premium or Runna Premium Trial status card — orange border while a trial is active, with the conversion or renewal date. Tap that card to open subscription management.
On the Runna Premium screen you will see your current plan under Your Runna Premium Subscription and an Annual option under Alternative Subscriptions. Scroll past the plan cards and tap Cancel Subscription — the white control with a chevron below the plan list.
Runna shows a full-bleed “Are you sure you want to cancel?” screen with a coaching photo and copy that you will lose access to your full personalized training plan and coaching support. Tap Yes, Cancel — not the solid black No, Keep Premium button.
For App Store–billed Premium, iOS may open Apple’s subscription confirmation after Yes, Cancel. Tap Cancel Subscription on Apple’s sheet — not Keep Subscription. If no sheet appears, open the iOS Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Runna → Cancel Subscription. That Settings path is also Runna’s official iOS cancel instructions.
Return to Profile. After a successful cancel you should see a continue / reactivate Runna Premium banner with Subscribe and Restore instead of an active Premium Trial or Premium card. Check Settings → Subscriptions (or your Paddle / Play portal) for the exact access-until date. Monthly plans: cancel at least 24 hours before renewal. Annual plans: you keep Premium for the full year you already paid.
You can skip Runna’s in-app screens entirely. Open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Runna → Cancel Subscription (scroll if needed). Official help lists this as the iOS path. The result is the same: Premium until the period ends, then free-tier access on the same account.
Open the Play Store → profile icon → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Runna → Cancel Subscription, then follow the on-screen steps. Apple Settings and the Paddle portal will not stop a Play-billed renewal.
Open the Paddle customer portal linked from Runna’s cancel help article, log in with your Runna account email, tap Cancel Subscription, and follow the prompts. Web charges often appear as paddle.net*runna. If login fails and you used Sign in with Apple, check Settings → your name → iCloud → Hide My Email for the Private Relay address tied to Runna — that is the address Paddle may have on file.
If Profile → Settings → Subscription says Strava, cancel and request refunds through Strava Support — Runna cannot cancel the joint $149.99/year bundle. For standalone Premium, cancel billing first; deleting your account (Profile → Delete Account) permanently wipes training data and does not cancel the subscription. Uninstalling the app also leaves auto-renew running.
RecurDash keeps track of what you're paying for and emails you before each renewal — so the next cancellation happens on your schedule, not after the charge. No bank login required.
