A 10-step walkthrough with real screenshots from the live cancel flow.
Sign in at app.podia.com/account/billing/edit, open Manage on your Podia Plan, click Cancel plan, check the repercussions box, then confirm with Cancel my subscription. Billing stops at the end of your current cycle — export your audience and products first, because your site goes offline and customers lose purchase access when the plan ends.
The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.
No bank login.
Wondering if you're paying more than you used to? how this compares to other subscriptions.
See Podia's pricing, tiers, and difficulty score in one page. Podia ranks #59 of 235 by cancellation difficulty.
Once Podia cancels your plan at period end, you lose the Admin dashboard until you pay again. Download audience CSVs, product files, sales records, and invoices while you still have access. Help also warns that customer subscriptions and payment plans cannot be reinstated after cancel — give buyers another way to reach their content if you are moving platforms.
Go to app.podia.com/account/billing/edit and sign in. You can also open Billing from your account menu. Confirm the Podia Plan row shows the plan you want to cancel, plus the next invoice date.
On the Podia Plan row, open Manage. The menu lists Change plan, Switch to yearly, View invoices, and Cancel plan in red. Click Cancel plan.
Podia opens a Cancel subscription modal. It states the subscription cancels at the end of your current billing cycle, then your site goes offline, customers lose access to purchases, and you lose the dashboard. Data stays on file for 180 days. Pick a reason from the dropdown if you want — it is not required to proceed.
Tick I understand the repercussions of cancelling my subscription. That enables the red Cancel my subscription button. Click it — Keep subscription abandons the flow with no change.
A toast should read Your subscription has been scheduled for cancellation. On the Podia Plan row, Next invoice flips to No upcoming invoice. You keep full access until the current cycle ends, then the site unpublishes automatically.
Help says the cancel control disappears when a cancellation or plan change is already scheduled. If a downgrade is pending, undo that scheduled downgrade first, then return to Billing and cancel. If you are stuck, use the in-app chat and ask support to process the cancellation.
Cancel schedules an end-of-cycle shutdown and keeps your content recoverable for 180 days. Delete account (Close your account at the bottom of Billing) wipes the site, sales, and customer data immediately with no recovery. Use delete only when you are sure you will never need the data again.
Paying for someone else's Podia community is a different bill. Cancel that from the community site's Billing page with Cancel plan — not from the creator Admin Billing flow in this guide. Your charge will not appear under the creator's Podia Plan row.
If cost is the issue but buyers still rely on your courses or community, use Change plan to move to a cheaper or monthly tier instead of canceling. Downgrading keeps the site published; canceling takes it offline for everyone at period end.
RecurDash keeps track of what you're paying for and emails you before each renewal — so the next cancellation happens on your schedule, not after the charge. No bank login required.
