Quick answer

Cancel foodpanda pro (pandapro) on whichever platform you bought it. In the app, open Profile → pandapro → Manage plan & payment, tap Cancel subscription (or Cancel free trial), then skip the "Stay pro", savings and reason screens and confirm. You keep your benefits until the paid period ends, and the subscription fee is non-refundable. If you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel there instead.

Step-by-step instructions

1

Open Manage plan & payment in the app

In the foodpanda app, open your Profile, tap the pandapro section, and go to Manage plan & payment. This screen shows your current plan, your upcoming price plan (e.g. "S$5.99 / 1 mo."), your payment method, and a Cancel subscription link at the bottom — labelled Cancel free trial if you're still in a trial.

Tap Cancel free trial, not Stay pro

A "Your benefits will end today" pop-up appears warning you'll lose your remaining days. Ignore the large pink Stay pro button and tap the outlined Cancel free trial (or Cancel subscription) button below it.

Skip the "You've saved" retention screen

foodpanda shows a savings tally — "You've saved S$X since you've been pro!" — broken down into delivery and restaurant-order savings, urging you to keep the plan. Scroll past the Keep my plan button and tap the small Cancel free trial link at the very bottom.

Fill in the reason survey (optional)

A "Before you go, how can we improve?" screen asks why you're unsubscribing, with multi-select options like "I didn't save enough", "Minimum order is too high", "Offers aren't attractive enough", "Limited restaurants in my area", and "I prefer using other food delivery platforms". Tick any that apply and tap Submit, or just tap Skip — neither affects the cancellation.

Confirm the cancellation registered

A "Your free trial has been cancelled" (or "Your subscription has been cancelled") confirmation appears — "We're sorry to see you go". Tap Got it. Reopen Manage plan & payment afterwards to verify the plan no longer shows an upcoming renewal; your benefits stay active until the end of the period you already paid for.

If you subscribed through the App Store (iPhone)

If you started pandapro as an Apple in-app purchase, the in-app cancel may hand you off to Apple — or you can go straight there. Open Settings, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, select foodpanda / pandapro, and tap Cancel Subscription. Access continues until the current period ends.

If you subscribed through Google Play (Android)

For a Play Store purchase, Google manages billing. Open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, select foodpanda pro, and tap Cancel subscription. It stays active until the current period ends.

Watch the auto-renew and payment-method traps

Under foodpanda's pandapro terms, subscription plans renew automatically at the end of the billing cycle unless cancelled — and even a pay-with-order plan will start auto-renewing if you update your saved payment method. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel pandapro or stop billing. Always cancel on the platform that charges you, and do it before the renewal date.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. foodpanda's pandapro subscription terms state that once the subscription fee has been successfully paid it is non-refundable, and that foodpanda "will not make any partial or full reimbursements for subscriptions cancelled prior to the expiry of the subscription period". Cancelling only stops the next renewal — it never refunds the current period. Because of this, cancel as soon as you decide to leave and always before the renewal date.

Yes. The terms confirm that once you cancel you continue to use your benefits until the end of the subscription period you already paid for. Free delivery, member discounts, and the other perks stay active until that end date, then the plan expires and your account reverts to the standard (non-member) experience.

This is a common complaint, and it usually comes down to two things in foodpanda's terms. First, standard subscription plans auto-renew at the end of the billing cycle unless you actively cancel. Second, even a pay-with-order plan that normally would not renew will start auto-renewing if you update your saved payment method during the billing cycle. After cancelling, reopen Manage plan & payment (or your App Store / Google Play subscriptions) and confirm there is no upcoming renewal date.

Open Profile → pandapro → Manage plan & payment, check the "Trial ends on" date, and tap Cancel free trial before that date. Work through the "Your benefits will end today" pop-up, the savings screen, and the optional reason survey, then tap Got it on the confirmation. You keep pro features until the trial's end date, then the account reverts to free with no charge.

Judge it on your own order history, not the in-app savings tally. Singapore members have publicly reported that the member discount on some items is lower than the discount non-members get on public promos, and that many pandapro perks require a minimum spend (commonly S$30+). If you rarely order enough to clear those minimums, the "You've saved" figure shown during cancellation can overstate the real benefit.

When pandapro was bought as an in-app purchase, the App Store or Google Play controls the billing, so foodpanda cannot cancel it for you. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → foodpanda/pandapro → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → foodpanda pro → Cancel subscription. Your benefits continue until the current period ends.
