Quick answer

Sign in at partners.fresha.com, open Settings > Billing > Subscriptions, and under Plan choose Actions > Cancel plan. Click Continue, pick a reason, tick each acknowledgement and click Cancel plan. Fresha's help center says the plan then won't renew and your workspace stays open until the billing cycle ends, with no refund promised for the month already billed. On an iPhone, do it in Safari or Chrome, not the app. Fresha's Partner Terms also ask for 30 days' written notice, so cancel well before the 1st of the month and email hello@fresha.com too.

Fresha was the one you remembered

The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.

Step-by-step instructions

1
If this applies to you

Before you cancel: export your client list and reports

Your workspace closes when the billing cycle ends, so download what you want to keep first. Fresha's help center exports the client list from the Options button at the top right of your client list, as Excel or CSV, and each report from its export menu as PDF, CSV or XLSX. The sales log is the report Fresha asks owners to export before deleting a workspace. Reactivating the plan brings the workspace back, but an export is the copy you control.

Before you cancel: sort out upcoming appointments and prepaid clients

Fresha's cancel screen makes you acknowledge that "Any upcoming client appointments will not be automatically canceled" and that "Client notifications will be disabled", so bookings after your end date stay in place while Fresha stops messaging those clients. Move or cancel them yourself and refund any deposits you owe. The help center doesn't say what happens to client memberships, packages or gift cards you've sold when only the plan ends. Fresha won't delete a workspace until active gift cards and memberships are refunded, so settle them while you still have access.

3

Sign in and open Settings, then Billing

Sign in to your workspace at partners.fresha.com in a web browser. From the main menu on the left, go to Settings and click the Billing category. On a phone, Fresha's steps start from More (the grid icon) at the bottom of the screen, then Settings, then Billing under Workspace settings. On an iPhone or iPad, Fresha says to follow those steps in a mobile browser such as Safari or Chrome, or to switch to a computer, rather than use the app. The plan is charged to the card on your Fresha account or to your Fresha wallet, so it's cancelled here in Fresha's own settings.

4

Open Subscriptions and choose Actions, then Cancel plan

In the Billing menu on the left, select Subscriptions. In the screenshots in Fresha's own help article, the Plan section shows Fresha for business with its price per bookable team member and a Renews on date. Click Actions next to it and select Cancel plan, not View plan details. Extras listed under Add-ons as included in Fresha for business, such as Premium Support, aren't billed separately. Paid add-ons are covered in the optional steps below.

5

Click Continue on the "Are you sure" screen

A full-page screen asks "Are you sure you want to cancel your plan with Fresha?" and gives the date after which you "will no longer be able to access your Fresha account". In Fresha's example, that is the last day of the month before the renewal date. Note the date, then click Continue at the top right. Exit leaves the plan running.

6

Pick your reason for cancelling

Next, Fresha asks why you're cancelling. Its mobile instructions say to select a reason from the listed options and tap Continue; the desktop article only says to continue through the steps. Fresha hasn't published a picture of this screen, so we can't tell you which reasons it lists or whether anything else appears here before the last step. Pick the closest reason and continue.

7

Tick every acknowledgement, then click Cancel plan

The last screen reads "Please acknowledge that by canceling the Fresha for business plan:" with seven boxes to tick: you lose access to the workspace, your team members' access is disabled, your Marketplace profile is unlisted, client notifications are disabled, upcoming client appointments are not automatically canceled, you lose access to all your reviews, and your current price and plan might not be available if you reactivate later. Below them, "Cancellation will become effective after" gives the date. Tick each box and click Cancel plan at the top right. Fresha's help center doesn't show the page or email that follows, so screenshot this screen with its date before you click, and keep any confirmation Fresha sends.

Turn off paid add-ons too

Add-ons such as AI Concierge, Client Loyalty, Google Rating Boost, Team Connect, Insights, Data Connector and Smart Website are monthly charges on top of the plan, and Fresha's help center doesn't say whether cancelling the plan stops them. Disable each paid add-on yourself. This screenshot shows an older layout, from August 2024, when add-ons sat under Billing with an Actions menu offering Manage and Disable. Fresha's current help articles open each add-on from Add-ons in the main menu instead, with Disable add-on under its Options button.

Pick a reason and click Disable now

Fresha asks you to confirm and shows the date you keep the add-on until. Choose an answer from the required Why are you disabling? menu, then click Disable now; Go back keeps the add-on. This capture is the add-on flow, not the plan cancel, and dates from August 2024, but Fresha's current Insights article describes the same screen: a reason from a dropdown, then Disable now. Fresha says you keep Insights until the end of the current billing period, and in this capture the add-on list then read Expires on with that date.

Fresha confirmation screen captured in August 2024 headed Are you sure you want to disable Fresha Insights?, with You will still have access until 28 Aug 2024, a You will no longer be able to list of four premium reporting features, the required Why are you disabling? dropdown set to The cost is too high, and Go back and red Disable now buttons

Put the cancellation in writing as well

Fresha's Partner Terms of Business say a partner cancelling a paid Fresha service "must give Fresha at least 30 days' notice in writing" and "will remain liable to pay any applicable Service Fees for the duration of the notice period". The help center's cancel steps mention no notice period: they say the plan won't renew for the next billing cycle, and Fresha's example screens end access on the last day of the month. Fresha doesn't say whether the in-app cancel counts as written notice. To cover both readings, cancel at least 30 days before the 1st of the month you don't want to pay for, and email hello@fresha.com, the contact address in the terms, with your business name, the date and a line saying you've cancelled your Fresha plan. Keep the sent email.

Delete the workspace only if you're leaving for good

Cancelling the plan keeps your workspace and reviews for a later reactivation, though Fresha doesn't say for how long. Deleting the workspace is a separate step, and Fresha says a deleted business account "cannot be restored". Before it accepts the request, the owner has to unlist the marketplace profile, cancel upcoming appointments, refund client deposits and any active gift cards or memberships, export the client list and sales log, and settle any negative wallet balance. The request is made under Personal settings, Workspaces, Manage, Delete workspace, and needs a code sent by SMS. Team members leave a workspace instead of deleting it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not for another month of the plan, according to Fresha's help center: once you cancel, the plan won't renew for the next billing cycle. Fresha charges the plan on the first day of each calendar month, for the month ahead. Two things can still bill you. Fresha's Partner Terms ask for 30 days' written notice and keep fees due during that notice (see the optional step above). And anything still owed, such as marketplace new client fees, payment fees or add-ons you haven't disabled, stays payable: the terms make any outstanding balance due immediately when you stop using Fresha. If you turned on Use wallet balance, fees come out of your Fresha wallet before your card. The terms give you 10 days from receiving an Invoice Statement to dispute it, or it counts as accepted.

Don't expect one. Fresha's help center describes no refund for a cancelled plan: your workspace stays open until the end of the billing cycle you've paid for, and nothing in the Partner Terms of Business promises a refund of a subscription month. The terms also say Automated Messages you've bought and added to your account are non-refundable, including when the agreement ends, so don't top up your messaging balance before you leave. If an Invoice Statement charges you after you cancelled, dispute it with Fresha within 10 days of receiving it.

Your marketplace profile is unlisted and your workspace closes when the billing cycle ends, for your team as well as you. Fresha says your reviews stop being visible to clients but are not deleted, and they return if you reactivate; team members can still see their own reviews and ratings in their profile. Fresha doesn't say how long it keeps a cancelled workspace's data, so export your client list and reports before the end date. Only deleting the workspace, a separate step, is described as permanent.

Fresha's pricing page says its 7-day trial for businesses with teams needs no credit card, and its referral help article describes businesses that "finished their free trial without activating a paid plan yet", so a trial can end without a paid plan starting. If you did activate the plan, cancel it with the steps above. Under the Partner Terms, the first Invoice Statement after the trial charges the following calendar month plus a pro-rated fee for the days between the end of the trial and that statement.

Yes. Sign in at partners.fresha.com, click Activate plan on the Activate screen, choose a card or your wallet balance, and click Activate. Fresha says you regain full access to your workspace and information, including reviews, but you have to re-list your marketplace profile and turn appointment notifications back on yourself. The cancel screen warns that your current price and plan might not be available if you reactivate later, which matters if you pay less than Fresha's current list price. A discount code can be added when you activate.

That membership belongs to the salon, not to a Fresha plan, so this guide doesn't cover it. Fresha's help center says "Clients can cancel their paid plan to prevent renewal, but they cannot pause it themselves." Only the business can pause a membership, and the business can also cancel it for you, immediately or at the end of the current billing cycle. If you can't find the option, contact the salon directly.
