A 10-step walkthrough with real screenshots from the live cancel flow.
Sign in and open Kajabi's cancel flow (Account Settings > Subscription > Change plan, then Cancel subscription at the bottom). Get past the benefits page and each offer with Cancel my subscription or Continue to cancel, click Finish cancellation, then pick a reason and click Complete cancellation. Nothing is cancelled until that last click. Your site stays live until the paid period ends, and Kajabi refunds only within 30 days of your first charge, by email to billing@kajabi.com.
The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.
No account, no bank login.

See Kajabi's pricing, tiers, and difficulty score in one page. Kajabi ranks #34 of 272 by cancellation difficulty.
Sign in at app.kajabi.com as the account owner or an admin with billing access. Click your name in the top right, then Account Settings > Subscription, and click Change plan on your plan card (it reads Select plan if an invoice is unpaid). Scroll to the bottom, past the plan comparison and the "Need to pause your Kajabi account?" card, and under "No longer happy with Kajabi?" click Cancel subscription. The red button at the top of this guide opens Kajabi's own direct link to the same flow. Park account is not a cancellation: it moves you to a Parked Plan at $29 a month plus tax. The screenshots below come from a 2024 cancellation of a free trial on an older plan, so plan names, prices and the exact offers may differ on your account, and Kajabi has since renamed the final button (see the last step).
The first screen of the "Cancel subscription" page, step 1 of a four-dot progress bar, says there are "still more benefits to explore with Kajabi" and lists what you lose: templates, landing pages, marketing emails, the CRM, Kajabi University and automations. The dark button is Keep my subscription. Click the plain Cancel my subscription text next to it.
On a trial, the next screen offers "Keep enjoying Kajabi for another 30 days free!" with an Extend my free trial button. Click Continue to cancel. The fine print says the membership still auto-renews into a paid monthly plan when the extended trial ends, so taking it only moves the charge date and you would have to come back and cancel again.
Next comes a price cut. In the 2024 screens it read "Enjoy Kajabi for less" with "3 months for $99!", a Get 3 months for $99 button and a plain Cancel my subscription link; the amount on your account may differ. Click Cancel my subscription. The fine print says accepting converts you to a paying monthly customer, charges the $99 fee, and bills the standard monthly price once the three months end unless you cancel first.
The "Last limited-time offer for you!" screen pitches parking: one month free on the Parked plan, then $29 a month plus tax until you cancel. Click Continue to cancel at the bottom right. Parking is not cancelling. Kajabi's help center says it cancels your current plan, forfeits any legacy plan and any remaining months of an annual plan, takes your site offline, and keeps charging your customers' subscriptions while they can't reach what they bought.
The third screen, "We're sad to see you go", restates your end date and stacks three keep options: Webinar schedule, Access Kajabi University and a dark Keep my subscription button. Scroll past them to "Finish your cancellation", which lists your plan and next billing date, and click Finish cancellation. You are not cancelled yet.
The last screen asks for your main reason for leaving, from "I'm just not ready to launch my business" to "I'm closing or selling my business"; the feedback box under it is optional. Pick a reason and click the final button. Kajabi's help center calls this screen "You haven't canceled just yet" and the button Complete cancellation; in the 2024 screens it was "Reason for leaving" with Submit feedback. Kajabi says your account is not canceled until you click it, and one user on r/kajabi who took an earlier screen for the last one was charged at the next renewal and refused a refund. A message then confirms your account is scheduled for cancellation. To be sure, open Account Settings > Subscription: a "Your subscription is pending cancellation" banner at the top means it worked.
Until your paid or trial period ends you can undo the cancellation. Open Account Settings > Subscription, click Reinstate account in the "Your subscription is pending cancellation" banner, then click Confirm subscription. In the 2024 screens the banner sat on the Dashboard with a Restore my account button. If you started a trial without a card there is no banner; click Activate plan on your plan card instead.
Cancelling Kajabi does not stop what your own customers pay you. Their subscriptions and payment plans keep charging after your site goes offline, even though they can no longer reach the products. Kajabi leaves you limited access to fix this: go to Sales > Payments > Subscriptions, open the More Actions (…) menu next to each active subscription, choose Cancel Payments and pick immediately, end of period or a custom date. Skip this if you never sold a subscription or payment plan.
Kajabi's terms give a full, no-questions-asked refund within 30 days of your first charge at Kajabi, and at no other time. Email billing@kajabi.com inside that window and follow the instructions in the reply. The refund is requested by email, not through the cancel screens.
RecurDash keeps track of what you're paying for and emails you before each renewal — so the next cancellation happens on your schedule, not after the charge. No bank login required.
