Quick answer

Sign in at go.glideapps.com, go to Billing, and click End Trial (trial) or Manage Plan → Cancel subscription (paid plan). Trial cancelers keep Business features until the trial ends and are never charged. Paid-plan cancelers retain access until the billing period ends — Glide offers a 14-day refund window from the initial purchase date.

Glide was the one you remembered

The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.

Step-by-step instructions

1

Sign in and open the Billing page

Go to go.glideapps.com and sign in. Use the Team dropdown in the top-left corner to select the team whose plan you want to cancel, then click Billing in the left sidebar.

2

Click End Trial

In the "Your Plan" panel on the right, click End Trial. A modal appears titled "We're sorry this didn't work out as planned" with a dropdown asking why you're downgrading.

3

Select a cancellation reason

Pick a reason from the "Please tell us why you're downgrading" dropdown. Options include pricing concerns, missing features, switching to a competitor, and "Other." Selecting "Other" reveals a free-text field.

4

Add optional feedback

If you selected "Other," type a short note in the "Please explain" field. This feedback goes to Glide's product team but is not required to complete the cancellation.

Click Cancel Plan

Click the red Cancel Plan button at the bottom of the modal. The button briefly shows a loading spinner while Glide processes the cancellation.

Verify the Free plan confirmation

The Billing page reloads showing your plan as Free at $0. A banner offers "Try the Business plan for 14 days" — ignore it if you've already used a trial, because Glide only allows one free trial per team. Your apps keep Business features until the original trial end date, then revert to Free-tier limits.

If this applies to you

Canceling a paid plan (not a trial)

If you're past the trial and paying for Explorer, Maker, or Business, the flow is slightly different. Go to Billing, click Manage Plan (or Open Customer Portal), then click Cancel subscription. On the next page, click Cancel plan to confirm. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Any outstanding invoices must be paid first — Glide hides the Cancel subscription button until all invoices are settled.

Unpublish apps to avoid overage charges

Glide charges for updates (adds, edits, deletes) that exceed your plan's included allowance. Even after canceling, published apps continue accumulating overages until the billing cycle ends. Go to each app's settings and unpublish it before you cancel to stop the meter.

If you missed the trial window

If your trial expired and Glide charged you, you have 14 days from the first charge date to request a full refund. Open the Glide builder at go.glideapps.com and click the messenger icon in the bottom-right corner to contact support. After 14 days, Glide does not issue refunds — and filing a chargeback with your bank will result in your account being closed and all apps permanently deleted.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you cancel during a free trial, you will not be charged at all. If you cancel a paid plan, Glide will not bill you for the next period, but any update overages from the current period are still charged at the end of the billing cycle. Unpublish your apps before canceling to prevent this.

Glide offers a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase date — contact support through the messenger in the Glide builder. After 14 days, no refunds are issued. For usage overages, Glide may offer a one-time account credit if you contact support. Do not file a chargeback with your bank: Glide treats disputed payments as fraud, immediately closes the account, and permanently deletes all apps.

Trial cancelers keep Business features until the trial period expires, then apps revert to Free-tier limits — you lose access to external data sources like Airtable and Excel, and apps with more than 25,000 rows stop syncing. Paid-plan cancelers keep full access until the billing period ends. Your apps and data are preserved on the Free plan, but published apps with paid-tier features will stop working as expected.

Yes, and you should cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged. The flow is: Billing → End Trial → select a reason → Cancel Plan. Glide sends a reminder 7 days before the trial expires. If you cancel during the trial, you keep Business features until the trial end date but cannot start another free trial — Glide allows only one trial per team.

Glide hides the Cancel subscription button when you have outstanding (unpaid) invoices. Pay all open invoices first — check your payment method under Billing, or open the Customer Portal to view invoice history. Once all invoices are settled, the cancel option reappears.

Yes. After canceling, your Billing page shows a Change Plan button — click it to pick a new plan. Your apps and data remain on the Free plan, so everything is still there when you upgrade. However, if you canceled a trial, you cannot start another free trial; you will need to choose a paid plan directly.
