Cancel at least two business days before renewal

Glovo's FAQ states you must cancel "at least two business days before renewal" to avoid the next charge. If you cancel on a Friday, the next charge may still process on Monday. Set a reminder a few days before your billing date — don't wait until the last day.

Remove your payment method to prevent phantom charges

Reddit users report Glovo attempting charges even after cancellation. To be safe, go to Profile → My information and remove the payment card linked to your account. If failed charges still appear on your bank statement, contact your bank to block future Glovo charges.

If you subscribed through Apple or Google

If your Glovo Prime subscription was purchased through the App Store or Google Play, the Unsubscribe button in the Glovo app won't stop billing. Cancel through Apple (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions) instead.

Frequently Asked Questions

No — provided you cancel at least two business days before your renewal date. Glovo's FAQ explicitly requires this lead time, which is unusual among subscription services. If you cancel too close to renewal, the next charge may still process. After a successful cancellation, your Prime benefits stay active until the current billing period ends.

Glovo's policy is clear: "Payments already made for the current subscription period are not refundable." This applies to both paid months and forgotten free trials. EU consumers may have rights under the 14-day right of withdrawal for new digital subscriptions, but Glovo does not advertise this. If you were charged after cancelling or deleting your account, dispute the charge with your bank — multiple users report success with chargeback requests.

Your Glovo account stays active — you just lose Prime perks (free delivery, lower fees, exclusive promos). Past orders, saved addresses, and payment methods remain. You can keep ordering through Glovo at standard delivery rates. Your order history is not affected.

Yes, through the same Profile → Glovo Prime → Unsubscribe flow. There's one catch: the app warns that cancelling a free trial means "it can't be reactivated, and you will lose all the benefits right away." Unlike a paid cancellation (where benefits last until period end), a trial cancellation takes effect immediately. Set a reminder before your trial ends if you want to use the full trial period before cancelling.

No. Glovo Prime benefits are locked to the country where you subscribed — the app explicitly states "Benefits applicable in subscription country." If you move, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and resubscribe in the new country. Changing your delivery address alone doesn't transfer the subscription.

Yes. Go back to Profile → Glovo Prime and subscribe again. You'll start a new billing cycle at the current rate for your country. Note that resubscribing won't restore a cancelled free trial — you'll go straight to the paid plan. Glovo occasionally runs promotional pricing for returning subscribers, but this isn't guaranteed.
