Spend leftover subscription credits first

Canceling does not cut you off today. You keep paid features and your monthly credit allowance until the end of the period you already paid for. Those subscription credits then expire for good and do not roll over to Free. Generate, upscale, or finish projects now. Credit Packs, Auto-Refill, promo credits, and Boost credits are different: they keep their 90-day timer, but you cannot spend them on Free — only after you resubscribe.

Open Subscription in Manage Account

Go to higgsfield.ai/me/settings and sign in. Click your avatar, then Manage Account, if you are not already there. In the left sidebar, click Subscription. Scroll past the unused-tools list to Plan Settings at the bottom. Manage Subscription sits there with a Show button.

Click Show, then Cancel Subscription

Click Show on Manage Subscription. A red warning appears, plus your plan name and the date the subscription stays active through. Click the red Cancel Subscription button. That date is when paid access ends — not today.

Skip "Save the goodbye for later"

A Churnkey modal offers to remind you a week before the next payment instead of canceling. It counts the days left on the plan and shows a yellow Remind me in N days button. That reminder leaves auto-renewal on. Click Continue to cancel.

Skip "You've already paid for this"

The next modal tallies leftover credits as cash and as generation counts, then warns that unused credits disappear at period end and that storage of generations is not guaranteed. The yellow Keep creating button is the stay path. Click Continue.

Answer the one-time-project survey

Higgsfield then asks whether you will use the product again, under a heading like "I only needed it for a one-time project." The three choices are I'll be back, This is my only project, and I might be back. Pick any one — the answer does not change whether the cancel goes through.

Select an option so the cancel control enables. Click through to submit. You are not writing a review — this is the last gate before the confirmation toast.

Verify the cancellation confirmation

A Subscription Cancelled toast should read "Cancellation confirmed. You won't be billed again," with Cancellation Guaranteed by Churnkey underneath. The header still shows how many days are left on the paid period, and a Renew plan control appears if you change your mind. That remaining-days badge is your proof: auto-renewal is off, and access continues until the date you already saw on Plan Settings.

If this applies to you

Team, Scale, or Enterprise: only the Owner can cancel

A business plan does not use this Churnkey flow. The workspace Owner cancels from Manage Account → Organization → Manage Account → Cancel Subscription, then submits the Subscription Cancellation Request Form. Members cannot stop the bill themselves. To drop seats without canceling the workspace, Higgsfield says to contact Support — seats cannot be lowered mid-cycle on your own.

Do not delete the account unless you want everything gone

Account deletion (Manage Account → Personal Profile → Manage Account Deletion) also stops future charges, but it wipes generations, trained characters, presets, and leftover credits. You get 30 days to restore by signing back in; after that it is permanent. Cancel first if you only want to stop paying and keep the library.

If the on-site cancel control is missing, email from the billed address

Higgsfield's terms also let you cancel by emailing support@higgsfield.ai from the email on the account. They will not accept a cancel request from a third party. Individual plans are billed through Stripe on the web (card, Apple Pay, or a supported bank payment) — Apple Pay is a checkout method, not an App Store subscription, so iPhone Settings → Subscriptions will not show Higgsfield unless you bought a different app.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not for a new period. Canceling turns off auto-renewal. You keep the plan until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account drops to Free and no further subscription charges should post. Confirm the Churnkey "Cancellation confirmed. You won't be billed again." toast and the remaining-days badge in the header. Auto-Refill also stops once the subscription is canceled. A second Higgsfield account on the same card is a separate bill — check Manage Account → Subscription → Upcoming Invoice → All invoices if a charge still looks wrong.

Canceling itself returns no money. Refunds are a separate request at higgsfield.ai/contact (account email, purchase date, amount, and why). Higgsfield's standard rule is all three: initial purchase only, within 7 days or as local law requires, and zero credits used from that purchase. Renewals are not refundable. Approved refunds deduct a service fee of up to 6% and move you to Free immediately — you do not keep the rest of the period. Annual leftover months are not prorated outside that window. EEA and UK consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right that ends early once you start using the digital content (spending credits or generating); email support@higgsfield.ai to use it. Free or Unlimited-model generations do not count as credit usage for the 7-day policy.

Subscription credits stay spendable until the paid period ends, then they expire permanently. Credit Pack, Auto-Refill, promo, and Boost credits are not deleted: their 90-day timers keep running, but you cannot use them on Free. Resubscribe before that window closes and the leftover balance comes back. Generations stay in Assets — cancel does not wipe the library. If the account sits unused for a long time, older files may move to cold storage; they are not deleted. Outputs you already exported stay yours. Deleting the account is the action that removes generations.

Only the workspace Owner can. Open Manage Account → Organization → Manage Account → Cancel Subscription and submit the Subscription Cancellation Request Form. You should get a confirmation email at the address on the account. Members cannot cancel the workspace bill; leaving the workspace does not stop the Owner from being charged. Individual Starter / Plus / Ultra cancels use the Subscription → Plan Settings flow in this guide instead.

Higgsfield's help center says there is no consumer trial — you explore on the Free tier (limited models, no subscription credits) and pay when you upgrade. If a promotional offer is attached to a paid plan, cancel before that promo converts so the first full-price renewal does not land. There is no in-flow "trial cancel" that is different from the steps above.

Yes, from higgsfield.ai/pricing at any time. Your account, Assets, and any Credit Pack balance still inside its 90-day window are still there. Subscription credits that expired at period end do not come back. There is no documented returning-customer discount; you pay the price on the Pricing page (and some regions see a different offer overlay than Starter / Plus / Ultra). If you canceled by mistake before the period ended, use Renew plan in the header while days remain.
