A 11-step walkthrough with real screenshots from the live cancel flow.
If Apple bills you, open apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions or Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Lifesum → Cancel Subscription. A website purchase cancels at lifesum.com/account/subscription. Uninstalling the app or deleting the account does not stop the bill. You keep Premium until the period ends — Lifesum asks you to cancel at least three days before renewal.
The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.
No account, no bank login.
Wondering if you're paying more than you used to? the price you used to pay vs the price you pay now.
See Lifesum's pricing, tiers, and difficulty score in one page. Lifesum ranks #194 of 243 by cancellation difficulty.
Search email for a receipt. Apple sends App Store receipts. Google Play and Galaxy Store send their own. A website buy comes from Lifesum with Web / Adyen as the payment method. Paddle on the receipt usually means an Instagram or Facebook ad checkout. Cancel on that same platform — Lifesum cannot turn off an App Store, Play, Galaxy Store, or Paddle renewal for you.
Open Lifesum and go to Settings. Under Account you will see Invite friends, Account Settings, and Manage Subscription. If you already pay for Premium, Manage Subscription shows Premium on the right. Tap Manage Subscription. This screen does not stop Apple billing by itself.
The Manage Subscription page lists your current plan, the Renews date, and what Premium includes. Screenshot that date. Scroll to the green Cancel subscription button and tap it.
Lifesum shows a Cancel subscription page headed "Sorry to hear that! What makes you want to leave?" The radios are It's too expensive, It's not as good as I expected, Technical issues, I just wanted to try it out, and Something else. Cancel subscription at the bottom stays dim until you pick one.
Select any reason — filling the survey is for Lifesum, not a requirement from Apple. When a radio is selected, Cancel subscription turns green. Tap it. This still does not finish an App Store cancel.
A sheet titled Cancel subscription says you can manage and cancel your subscription in Apple App Store, with Close and Continue. Close goes back. Tap Continue to leave the Lifesum survey and open Apple's subscription page.
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Lifesum → Cancel Subscription (scroll if you do not see it). On a computer signed into the same Apple Account: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Apple's help page: if there is no Cancel button, or you see an expiration date in red, it is already canceled. Screenshot that end date. You keep Premium until then. Lifesum asks you to cancel at least three days before renewal; Apple's own cutoff is 24 hours before the period or trial ends.
You do not need the Lifesum app to stop an App Store renewal. Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Lifesum → Cancel Subscription, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Official steps: support.apple.com/en-us/118428. If Lifesum is missing, search email for a receipt from Apple and sign in with that Apple Account — a family member's purchase can only be canceled by that account.
Google Play: open Play Store → your account → Payments and subscriptions → Lifesum → Cancel subscription, then follow the on-screen steps. On a computer: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Samsung Galaxy Store: Menu → Subscriptions → Lifesum → Unsubscribe. Uninstalling the app does not cancel either store. You keep the paid period; Play refunds go through Google.
Website (receipt from Lifesum, payment method Web / Adyen): sign in at lifesum.com, open Manage Subscription at lifesum.com/account/subscription, and press Cancel subscription. That page does not cancel an App Store or Play bill. Paddle on the receipt (often an Instagram or Facebook ad): go to paddle.net, choose Look up my purchase, enter the email you used at checkout, verify it, find Lifesum, and press Cancel.
Lifesum's cancel and account-deletion articles both say deleting the account does not cancel an active subscription. Uninstalling is the same. Cancel on the store that billed you first. Only then delete: in the app, Profile → Settings → Account Settings → Delete Account, or use lifesum.com/account/delete-account. Deletion is not reversible. Gift cards and 100% discount campaigns do not auto-renew — there is nothing to cancel on those.
RecurDash keeps track of what you're paying for and emails you before each renewal — so the next cancellation happens on your schedule, not after the charge. No bank login required.
