A 10-step walkthrough with real screenshots from the live cancel flow.
Cancel MemberPlus wherever you pay for it. Bought it on the website? Sign in at insighttimer.com/manage-subscription and click Cancel Subscription. If Apple bills you, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Insight Timer → Cancel Subscription; on Android, cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You keep MemberPlus until the period ends, and Insight Timer doesn't refund unused time.
The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.
No account, no bank login.

Insight Timer sells MemberPlus three ways: through the App Store, through Google Play, or on insighttimer.com, where Stripe takes your card. Each one cancels in its own place, and canceling somewhere else won't stop the charge. Look in iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions, in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions, and on your profile at insighttimer.com. Whichever one lists Insight Timer is your biller, and your receipt email says the same (search for "receipt from Apple" if you think it's Apple). If none of them shows it, email help@insighttimer.com, with two t's, and send the charge from your statement.
In the Insight Timer app, tap the menu icon (three lines) at the top left, then Settings, the gear at the bottom of the menu. Tap Subscription & Donations, then Membership under MemberPlus. On iPhone this opens My Plus Membership. On Android you can go straight to Google Play instead (see the Google Play step below).
My Plus Membership leads with the Plus course library. Scroll past it to the Manage section at the bottom and tap Cancel subscription.
The Cancel subscription page lists three cases. Tap Manage Apple subscription if the App Store bills you, or Manage web subscription if you bought on insighttimer.com. A gifted subscription needs nothing from you: the page says it ends at the end of the gifted period and can't be canceled manually.
Apple: on the Insight Timer subscription, tap Cancel Subscription (you may need to scroll down) and confirm. If the link won't open, go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Insight Timer yourself. Website: sign in at insighttimer.com/manage-subscription, or open your profile at the top right and choose My Subscriptions. Find MemberPlus, click Cancel Subscription, answer or skip the optional reason question, and confirm. Insight Timer emails you a confirmation.
MemberPlus stays on until the end of the period you've paid for, then the app drops to the free version. On iPhone, an expiration message in red text under Insight Timer, with no Cancel button, means the subscription is already canceled. Keep the confirmation email. Deleting the app, or your Insight Timer account, doesn't cancel anything: Insight Timer's refund policy says you have to cancel through your payment method.
Open the Play Store app, tap your profile icon at the top right, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. Pick Insight Timer, tap Cancel subscription, give a reason if you want to, and confirm. On a computer, sign in at play.google.com and open Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. A Play Store subscription doesn't move to an iPhone: if you're switching phones, cancel here, let it run out, then subscribe on the new one.
The free trial starts you on the annual plan, so if it runs out you're charged for a full year ($59.99 in the US). Find the end date in the app under the menu > Notifications, in your Apple or Google Play subscriptions, or under My Subscription on the website. Cancel the same way as a paid plan, and you keep MemberPlus for the rest of the 7 days. The web checkout says Insight Timer will remind you three days before the trial ends.
If someone gave you MemberPlus, there's nothing to cancel: the app says gifted subscriptions end on their own. If you bought one for someone else, Insight Timer's gift route is an ordinary web subscription on their account paid with your card, and it renews like any other. Once the gift is active, email help@insighttimer.com and ask them to remove your card so it doesn't renew. One giver on r/InsightTimer found a second year on their card twelve months later.
Insight Timer says its family plan was a limited test that has ended, but a plan still running is billed once a year to the primary account holder. The holder cancels it wherever it was bought, like any MemberPlus plan; the help center has no separate family cancel steps. A member can leave from Subscription & Donations > Membership > Manage > Leave Plan, but leaving only removes that member. It doesn't stop the holder's bill.
RecurDash keeps track of what you're paying for and emails you before each renewal — so the next cancellation happens on your schedule, not after the charge. No bank login required.
