How to Cancel Nibble

A 8-step walkthrough.

Quick answer

Signed up on Nibble's website, often after tapping an ad? Sign in at nibble-app.com/sign-in, click Cancel subscription, confirm with Yes, I’m sure, get past the survey and offer screens with Skip or Proceed to cancel, then click Cancel subscription once more until you see Subscription canceled. If you also pay for Infographics, cancel that separately. Paying through Apple? Use iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Nibble. On Android, use Google Play Payments & subscriptions. Either way, cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.

Nibble was the one you remembered

The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.

Step-by-step instructions

1

Sign in to your Nibble account on the web

Go to nibble-app.com/sign-in in any browser and sign in with the email you used at checkout. This is the route for a subscription bought on Nibble's website, and those never show up in iPhone or Google Play subscription lists. Never set a password because you bought after an ad? Use nibble-app.com/forgot-password and check your spam folder. If you signed up with Apple or Google sign-in, use that same button: Nibble says a different email won't reach the subscription.

2

Click Cancel subscription, then Yes, I’m sure

Your account page lists the Nibble App subscription with its status and next billing date. Click Cancel subscription. Some accounts see an Attention box with a Terminate button instead, which starts the same process. If Nibble asks "Are you sure you want to cancel your subscription?", click Yes, I’m sure. Keep subscription backs out.

3

Get through the survey and offer screens

Nibble then runs a feedback sequence it labels "Less than 2 min". Tap Provide feedback to start, pick any answer on "What is your reason for cancelation?", and use Proceed to cancel to skip written answers. If it asks "What price would be more acceptable for you?", enter any figure to move on. Depending on your account you may also get a "Personal discount for you" screen (tap Skip) or "Keep learning for less" (tap Proceed to cancel).

4

Click Cancel subscription on the last screen

The final screen reads "Thank you for this journey. We hope we'll meet again" with two buttons, Cancel subscription and Keep my plan. Click Cancel subscription. You're done when you see "Subscription canceled" and "You won't be billed from now on." Back on the account page, the status should read canceled, followed by "You will have access to your account till" and a date.

If this applies to you

Cancel the Infographics subscription separately

Infographics is a second subscription with its own charge, and canceling the Nibble App plan leaves it running. Several Reddit users found a $19.99 or £19.99 monthly charge after they thought they had canceled everything. If you have it, the success screen shows a Cancel infographics subscription button. Otherwise open the Infographics tab under Subscriptions on your account page, click its cancel button (Terminate on some accounts), confirm, and work through its short survey the same way. Do the same for any other add-on listed there.

If this applies to you

If you pay through Apple (iPhone or iPad)

Open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, then Nibble. Tap Cancel Subscription (it reads Cancel Free Trial during the trial) and confirm. Apple says that if there's no Cancel button, or you see an expiration message in red, the subscription is already canceled. If you start from the app instead (Profile, gear icon, Manage subscription), Nibble may show "How about a special offer we have for you?" first, and Proceed to cancel moves you on. Afterwards, Manage subscription in the app should show Status Canceled and an Active till date.

If this applies to you

If you pay through Google Play

Open the Play Store app, tap your account icon at the top right, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Select Nibble, tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts. Google notes that uninstalling the app won't cancel it, and you keep access for the time you've already paid for. If Nibble isn't listed, you bought it on the website, so use the web steps above.

8
If this applies to you

If you can't find the subscription anywhere

Check your card or PayPal statement first. Nibble says payments go through its parent company, so the charge may read Headway rather than Nibble. If you also use the Headway app, that's a separate subscription with its own cancel page. If you can't sign in, email support@nibble-app.net from the address you signed up with and ask them to cancel: Nibble's subscription terms list that as a valid way to cancel a website subscription. Deleting the app does nothing to the billing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not for the plan you canceled. Nibble's confirmation reads "You won't be billed from now on," and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Two things still catch people. First, timing: Nibble's terms say to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or period ends, and users who canceled at the last minute have been refused refunds. Second, add-ons: an Infographics subscription bills separately and has its own cancel button. Check your next statement for a charge from Nibble or from Headway, the parent company name Nibble says may appear instead.

It depends on where you paid. App Store: Nibble's terms say it can't refund App Store purchases, so request one from Apple through its Report a Problem page (reportaproblem.apple.com). Apple decides, and Nibble may share your usage data with Apple when it does. Google Play: request it through Google Play. Website: Nibble's Terms of Use say web purchases are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise. EU users have a 14-day withdrawal right, but the terms say it lapses once the purchase is delivered, leaving at most a proportional refund for the service. Support does sometimes make exceptions: an App Store reviewer who missed a renewal got one after contacting support@nibble-app.net. Nibble's team account on Reddit also asks unresolved cases to message it with the account email and support ticket number.

You keep full access until the paid period ends. After that, be ready to lose your history: on the web account, Nibble's own warning says canceling "will remove your saved progress, achievements, and personalization. If you return later, you'll be starting fresh." Nibble doesn't say whether App Store or Google Play cancellations work the same way. Canceling is still not the same as deleting your account. Delete account (Profile, gear icon, Delete account, then type GOODBYE) erases your data for good, so cancel the subscription first and delete the account afterwards if you want everything gone.

Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Nibble → Cancel Subscription, then confirm. That is the path Nibble's own FAQ gives. Google Play: open the Play Store app, tap your account icon, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Nibble → Cancel subscription. Deleting the app doesn't cancel either one. If Nibble appears in neither list, you bought it on the website and need nibble-app.com/sign-in instead.

Yes. The 7-day free trial comes with the annual plan and turns into a paid year automatically. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, as Nibble's subscription terms require. On Apple the button reads Cancel Free Trial. The app promises "We'll remind you 2 days before your free trial ends," but one App Store reviewer never got the reminder and found a card alert for "NINETY DOLLARS" instead, so set your own reminder the day you start. Nibble's FAQ also notes that not every offer includes a trial, so check whether you were charged on day one.

Yes, but how depends on where you paid. A canceled website subscription can't be restarted from the account page, which says "Contact support to renew subscription," so email support@nibble-app.net. App Store and Google Play users can subscribe again from the app's paywall. Expect a different price: the US App Store lists several annual prices for Nibble at once, from $12.99 to $89.99, alongside a $19.99 monthly plan. If you used the web account, your earlier progress may be gone, per Nibble's own cancel warning.
