Quick answer

If you subscribed through the iOS App Store, cancel at Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Noom > Cancel Subscription — the Noom app cannot process iOS cancellations. Web subscribers cancel at the Noom Subscription Portal. Deleting your account in the Noom app does not stop billing and you do not get a refund for the remaining period.

iOS users: cancel through Apple, not the Noom app

On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Noom in your active list and tap Cancel Subscription. This is the only way to actually stop iOS billing — neither the Noom app nor noom.com can cancel an App Store subscription.

Open Noom Settings to confirm what is billing you

Inside the Noom app, tap your profile picture, then Settings, then scroll to the Account section. Tap Manage Subscription. If the next screen mentions "iTunes" or "App Store," your subscription is on Apple — use the Apple Settings path above.

CHECK NOW only redirects you to Apple — it does not cancel

On the Subscription details page, the orange CHECK NOW button under the "We are unable to display additional information about iTunes subscriptions here" notice is a shortcut into Apple's subscription manager. Tap it if you want, but you still have to tap Cancel Subscription on the Apple page that opens.

Web subscribers: cancel via the Noom Subscription Portal

If you subscribed at noom.com (not via Apple or Google), open account.noom.com/login in a browser, sign in, and click Cancel Subscription. Expect several retention prompts offering to pause, switch plan, or apply a discount before you reach the final confirmation.

If you want Noom to wipe your data after canceling, scroll past CHECK NOW on the Subscription details page and tap the red Delete my account button. Export My Data sits beneath it if you want a copy first.

Confirm the Account Deletion warning

A modal reads: "Your information will be permanently deleted and you will lose access to the Noom app for the remainder of your subscription without a refund. Your request will be completed within the next 30 days. Once submitted, this change cannot be undone." Tap Delete to proceed or Cancel to back out.

A loading spinner appears with the message "Please do not click back or refresh the page." Leave the screen alone for a few seconds — interrupting can leave the request in a half-completed state.

If you signed up through Google Play or a partner

Cancel through whichever platform charges you. Google Play: open play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions, find Noom, tap Cancel subscription. Partners (employer wellness, insurer, gym): contact the program admin or check your member portal — Noom cannot cancel partner-billed subscriptions.

Cancel before your free trial ends

Noom's 7-day trial auto-converts to paid. To avoid the first charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial end date — not on the same day. Apple's Subscriptions screen shows your exact renewal date under the Noom entry.

No, but only if you cancel through the right channel. iOS subscriptions stop billing only after you cancel in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Noom — the Noom app cannot do this for you. Web subscriptions stop after you cancel in the Subscription Portal at account.noom.com. You keep access until the end of the current billing period either way.

No. The deletion confirmation modal in the Noom app says it directly: "you will lose access to the Noom app for the remainder of your subscription without a refund." If you delete before canceling on Apple, you continue to be billed for a service you can no longer use. Always cancel through Apple (or the web Subscription Portal) first, then delete if you want your data wiped.
