Quick answer

In ReciMe, open Settings → My subscription → Manage my subscription → Manage subscription, then finish in Apple's subscription manager: select ReciMe, tap Cancel Subscription, and confirm. You can skip the app and go straight to Apple Subscriptions. Cancel a trial at least 24 hours before renewal; Plus stays active until the trial or paid period ends.

ReciMe was the one you remembered

The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.

Step-by-step instructions

1

Check your renewal date before you start

Open ReciMe early enough to finish before the date shown under your plan. ReciMe says free trials must be canceled at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid a charge. Canceling does not remove Plus immediately — access continues until the trial or paid subscription period ends.

2

Open Settings and tap My subscription

Open ReciMe, go to Settings, and tap My subscription. Do not use Log out — signing out does not change the App Store renewal.

3

Confirm Apple bills you

The My subscription page shows your plan, renewal date, and billing source. If it says "Subscribed through the App Store," tap Manage my subscription. That row opens ReciMe's handoff toward Apple; ReciMe cannot cancel an Apple subscription for you.

4

Tap Manage subscription on the benefits panel

ReciMe shows a panel summarizing the Plus benefits you will lose. Tap Manage subscription at the bottom to leave ReciMe and open Apple's subscription controls.

5

Cancel ReciMe in Apple Subscriptions

In Apple Subscriptions, select ReciMe, scroll if needed, tap Cancel Subscription, and follow the confirmation prompt. Apple — not ReciMe — controls this App Store billing agreement.

6

Verify the expiration date

Reopen Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ReciMe. Apple says a missing Cancel button or an expiration message in red means the subscription is already canceled. Save the end date: ReciMe Plus works until then, after which the account returns to Free and its five-import weekly limit.

7
If this applies to you

Skip ReciMe and cancel directly with Apple

You do not need the three ReciMe screens. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ReciMe → Cancel Subscription. You can also sign in at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions and manage it there.

8
If this applies to you

If Google Play bills you

Open Google Play, go to your Subscriptions page, select ReciMe, tap Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts. ReciMe cannot cancel or refund a Google Play subscription because Google owns the billing record.

9
If this applies to you

If you subscribed on the website through Stripe

In ReciMe, use Settings → My Subscription → Manage my subscription and follow the Stripe prompts. Or, in a browser, open the Stripe billing link in ReciMe's help article on canceling, enter the exact email address on your ReciMe account, and confirm cancellation. If the login fails, email support@recime.app before renewal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Not for another renewal once the billing platform shows the subscription as canceled. ReciMe Plus remains active until the current trial or paid period ends, then the account returns to Free. For a trial, ReciMe says to cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the first annual charge.

Cancellation does not automatically refund the current period. ReciMe says most in-app sales are final. For an App Store charge, request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; Apple decides eligibility. Google Play charges go through Google. Stripe website purchases have ReciMe's documented 14-day money-back guarantee — email support@recime.app with the subject "Refund Request" and the requested account and charge details.

They stay saved. ReciMe explicitly says imported recipes remain in your account after you return to the free version. You lose Plus-only tools such as unlimited imports, scanning, nutrition calculations, export and print, and guided cooking; the Free plan allows five smart imports per week.

Cancel where the billing lives. Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ReciMe → Cancel Subscription. Google Play: Subscriptions → ReciMe → Cancel subscription. Stripe: ReciMe Settings → My Subscription → Manage my subscription, or use ReciMe's Stripe billing login with the exact account email. An Apple or Google cancellation will not stop a separate Stripe subscription.

Yes. Use the same Apple, Google Play, or Stripe path that started the trial. ReciMe requires cancellation at least 24 hours before renewal. After a successful cancellation, Plus remains available until the trial end date and should not convert to the paid annual plan.

Yes. Your account and recipes remain on the Free plan, so you can subscribe again from the ReciMe app or website. The verified US catalog is annual-only: ReciMe Plus costs $39.99/year after a 7-day trial. Check the purchase screen before confirming because regional prices and trial eligibility can differ.
