How to Cancel Riverside

Step-by-step instructions
Sign in and open Settings → Subscription
Log in at riverside.com/dashboard (riverside.fm redirects here). In the bottom-left, open Settings (gear). In Your account, click Subscription. That is the billing page for web trials and paid plans.
Read the trial card before you cancel
On a Pro + Live Studio trial you'll see the plan name, how many days remain, the trial end date, and the first paid charge if you do nothing — for example a yearly total printed on the card. Confirm that date so you know the last day you can cancel without converting.
Click Cancel Pro + Live Studio trial
At the bottom of the plan card, click the Cancel … trial link for your plan — not Upgrade plan, not Manage subscription & billing, and not Remove add-on. The page notes that canceling moves you to a free plan with limited features when the trial ends.
Finish any confirm prompts
Complete whatever confirmation Riverside shows after the cancel link. On a paid plan the help center documents a longer path: Cancel plan, pick a reason, click Continue to cancel, then answer the remaining questions until you see a canceled message. Trial cancels are shorter; you may land straight back on Subscription with a status banner.
Verify the canceled banner
Subscription should show a banner that your subscription is canceled and won't be renewed, and that you're still on the free trial until the printed end date. The plan card should say you'll move to a free plan after that date — with no first paid charge language.
Download high-quality tracks before the trial ends
Canceling does not wipe prior recordings, but Riverside recommends downloading separate high-quality tracks and exported timelines before you lose paid features. Free accounts keep unlimited recording and editing with tighter limits on separate high-quality track downloads — so export what you need while the trial is still active.
If you're on a paid Pro, Grow, or Webinar plan
The Cancel … trial link will not apply. On Subscription (help articles may still say Plan & Billing), click Cancel plan at the bottom, choose why you're leaving, click Continue to cancel, and finish the questions. Riverside keeps paid benefits until the end of the current billing cycle, then moves the account to the free plan.
Request a refund inside the published window
Riverside's refund policy: cancel a new monthly Pro or Grow subscription within 24 hours of purchase and request a full refund, or within 14 days for a new yearly Pro or Grow subscription. Ask support (chat or support@riverside.com). Refunds return to the original payment method and can take up to 14 business days via Stripe. AI credit purchases are non-refundable. Outside those windows, cancel still stops renewals but does not guarantee money back — EU/UK consumers may also have a 14-day withdrawal right on new distance contracts.
If you subscribed to Mobile Plus in the app stores
Mobile Plus is a separate iOS/Android in-app plan. Riverside's web Cancel plan controls do not cancel it, and Riverside says it cannot cancel App Store or Google Play billing for you. Cancel under Apple Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. For a Mobile Plus trial, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
Don't delete the account if you only meant to stop paying
Cancel (or let the trial end into free) keeps the workspace and recordings. Delete account on the same Subscription page permanently removes assets after email verification — Riverside says deleted content cannot be recovered. If you use podcast hosting, free-plan hosting keeps existing episodes on connected platforms but you cannot edit them or upload new ones.
