Quick answer

Sign in at app.searchable.com/settings (or click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose All settings). Under Your Subscription click Manage, then in the Billing window click Manage > Cancel subscription. Get past two save screens with Continue to cancel and No thanks, cancel my subscription, then click Confirm cancellation. A monthly plan runs to the end of the billing period with no refund under Searchable's Terms (support may still grant a one-time courtesy refund), and a trial canceled before its 14 days are up is never charged. Annual plans renew unless you email written notice to legal@searchable.com at least 30 days before the renewal date.

Step-by-step instructions

  1. If this applies to you

On a free trial? Cancel before your first charge

Searchable's 14-day trial takes a card at signup. It starts the day you create the account and ends at 11:59 pm on day 14 in your account's time zone, and the Terms let Searchable charge the card the next day. The Billing window you'll open below shows that date as Your next billing date. Cancel before it and the Terms say nothing is charged, but a trial cancel takes effect immediately, so you lose access that day rather than at the end of the trial. Cancel on or after that date and you've paid for the month that just started, with no refund, and keep access until it ends.

  2. Open All settings and click Manage

Sign in at app.searchable.com, click your name at the bottom of the left sidebar and choose All settings. On the Account page, the Your Subscription section shows your plan, plus a Trial ending in N days badge if you're still on the trial. Click Manage next to it. Searchable's current docs give billing access to the workspace Owner and Super Admin roles (an older Teams page says Administrator), so if you hold none of these, ask whoever does. The Switch button on the Save 20% by switching to an annual plan row moves you to a yearly charge. It doesn't cancel anything.

Searchable settings window open on the Account page, with a left menu of Account, Notifications, Projects, Team, Models (LLMs), Usage, White-labelling, Connectors, MCP and API Keys, and a Your Subscription section reading Thanks for subscribing to Searchable with a Scale badge, an orange Trial ending in 6 days badge and a Manage button, above a Save 20% by switching to an annual plan row with a Switch button
  3. Click Manage, then Cancel subscription

A Billing window opens over the dashboard. Click the Manage button next to Monthly plan and choose Cancel subscription from the menu. The other option, Upgrade, moves you to a bigger plan. The Manage and Switch buttons further down belong to Model add-ons and Annual billing, not to your plan.

Searchable Billing window with the Manage dropdown next to Monthly plan open, showing two options, Upgrade and Cancel subscription, above the saved Visa card and the Additional plans section
  4. Click Continue to cancel

A window headed If you cancel, you'll lose access to: lists Visibility history, Searchable agent, Competitive intelligence and Workspace data, then gives the date you keep access until. Click the outlined Continue to cancel button. The black Keep Searchable button underneath closes the window without canceling.

Heads up: This is a retention screen: Keep Searchable is styled as the main button, and the list is there to make leaving feel expensive. You do lose access, but only on the date shown, and Searchable's Terms give you 30 days after that to export your content.

Searchable window headed If you cancel, you'll lose access to:, listing Visibility history, Searchable agent, Competitive intelligence and Workspace data, the line You keep access until Sep 27, 2026 if you finish cancellation, an outlined Continue to cancel button and a black Keep Searchable button, beside an image panel labelled Scale
  5. Turn down the cheaper plan

Next comes Looking for a cheaper plan?, which sets your current plan against the one below it. On Scale ($400 billed monthly) that's Pro at $125 billed monthly, with a Switch to Pro button. To keep canceling, click the text link No thanks, cancel my subscription under the two cards. Our capture comes from a Scale plan, so we haven't seen what Pro subscribers get at this point.

Heads up: A downgrade offer, not a cancel. Switch to Pro keeps you billed at $125 a month, and Searchable's docs say downgrades apply at the end of the billing period. If you want to stop paying, skip the big button and use the small link.

Searchable window headed Looking for a cheaper plan?, with a Scale card at $400 billed monthly marked Current plan, a Pro card at $125 billed monthly with a black Switch to Pro button, and a No thanks, cancel my subscription text link underneath
  6. Click Confirm cancellation

The last window is headed Cancel Scale? on a Scale plan. It says your subscription stays active through the end of the current billing period, then the cancellation takes effect, and an Access ends box gives the exact date. Click Confirm cancellation. Back returns you to the previous screen without canceling.

Searchable Cancel Scale? window saying the subscription will stay active through the end of the current billing period, then cancellation will take effect, an Access ends box reading You keep access until Sep 27, 2026 if you finish cancellation, a black Confirm cancellation button and a Back button
  7. Check for the Set to cancel tag

A Subscription scheduled to cancel notice appears, and the Billing window now shows a red Set to cancel tag next to Monthly plan, with Your access ends on and a date underneath. Searchable keeps working until then and won't renew. The green Resume subscription button undoes the cancellation any time before that date. If you pay for model add-ons, check that row under Additional plans too: our capture had none, so we can't say whether they stop with the plan.

  8. If this applies to you

On an annual plan, send written notice 30 days before renewal

Searchable's Terms handle yearly plans differently. They're paid up front, can't be canceled or refunded mid-term, and renew automatically for another year unless you give written notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before the term ends. Notices go to legal@searchable.com, and the Terms also ask for a courtesy copy by post to the Delaware address in section 20.1. Our screenshots come from a monthly plan, so we haven't seen whether Cancel subscription works on an annual one. Email the notice well before the deadline, name the workspace and account email, use Cancel subscription too if the Billing window offers it, and keep Searchable's reply.

  9. If this applies to you

Export what you want to keep

Visibility history, competitor tracking and saved reports go when access ends. The Export button at the top of every page opens Reports, and Searchable's docs list a PDF visibility summary and a prompt-performance CSV among its exports. The Terms promise 30 days after the plan ends to export your content, after which Searchable may delete it, with backups purged typically within 90 days. Exporting while the plan is still active is simpler than relying on that window.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I be charged after canceling Searchable?

Not for a renewal. A monthly plan stays active until the end of the billing period you've paid for, then stops, and Searchable's Terms say you owe the fees through that date. Cancel a trial before it ends and the Terms say nothing is charged at all. An unpaid invoice is different: the Terms keep accrued fees payable after you cancel. In our capture a Payment Past Due banner stayed up after the cancellation was scheduled, and a Trustpilot reviewer wrote in January 2026 that "despite canceling my subscription, it still attempts to charge my card, and I am unable to remove my card details." In our capture the Billing window offers Change for the card but no way to remove it. If you see that banner, email support@searchable.com rather than waiting for the card to fail.

Can I get a refund from Searchable?

Not by right. Searchable's Subscription Terms (version 1.0, 1 May 2026) say there are no refunds for partial months, annual plans are non-refundable unless Searchable materially breaches the contract, and all other fees are non-refundable. The troubleshooting page in its documentation, last updated in January 2026, is softer: contact support within 14 days, you must not have exceeded usage limits, and "one-time courtesy refunds" are available. The Terms rank above the documentation where the two conflict, so treat a courtesy refund as goodwill you can ask for at support@searchable.com, not something you're owed. The Terms are a business-only contract and don't mention a cooling-off period.

What happens to my Searchable data when I cancel?

Everything keeps working until the date on the Set to cancel tag. After that, Searchable's Terms give you 30 days to export your content, then Searchable may delete it, with backups purged typically within 90 days. Visibility history is the part to think about: it's built from Searchable's daily prompt checks, so it can't be backfilled if you return later. The Terms also let Searchable train AI models on your content on every plan unless you opt out, either with the account setting or by emailing privacy@searchable.com with the subject MODEL TRAINING OPT-OUT. Opting out only works going forward, and so does the separate opt-out from being listed publicly as a customer (email marketing@searchable.com).

How do I cancel an annual Searchable plan?

With written notice, according to Searchable's Terms. Annual plans renew automatically for another year unless you send notice of non-renewal at least 30 days before the current term ends, and notices go to legal@searchable.com. The year is paid up front and isn't refundable, so the notice only stops the next renewal: you keep access until the term runs out. Our screenshots come from a monthly plan, so we can't confirm whether the Billing window's Cancel subscription also works on an annual one. Do both if it's offered, and keep the email reply. Plans bought on a signed Order Form follow that form's terms instead.

Can I cancel Searchable during the free trial?

Yes, through the same Billing window. Pro and Scale come with a 14-day trial that needs a card to start, and the Terms let Searchable charge it the day after the trial ends, "without further notice" beyond any reminder the law requires. Cancel before then and the Terms say nothing is charged, but the cancellation takes effect immediately, so the trial ends that day. The cancel screens in this guide offer a month of access because they appear to have been captured just after a trial converted to a paid month. The trial's end date is your job to track, so check the Trial ending in N days badge under All settings > Account.

Can I restart Searchable after canceling?

Before your end date, yes: open the Billing window and click Resume subscription, and the plan carries on as before. After it ends you'd subscribe again. Searchable doesn't say whether that restores an old workspace, but its Terms keep your content available for 30 days after the plan ends, so if you might come back, do it inside that window. Don't count on a second trial or a new-customer discount: Searchable's referral program, for one, excludes anyone who has already had an account or a trial.
