A 11-step walkthrough with real screenshots from the live cancel flow.
Sign in at admin.typeform.com, open Plan & billing, click Cancel my plan, choose Free → Get Free, finish the exit survey, check the acknowledgment box, then click Cancel my plan again. You keep paid features until the end of the prepaid period — Typeform does not issue refunds.
The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.
No bank login.

See Typeform's pricing, tiers, and difficulty score in one page. Typeform ranks #22 of 235 by cancellation difficulty.
Sign in at admin.typeform.com. Click your organization name (top left), then Plan & billing. You'll see your current plan, response usage, and two buttons: Change my plan and Cancel my plan. Only organization owners or admins can change the plan.
Click the gray Cancel my plan button (not Change my plan — that path is for switching to another paid tier). Typeform sends you into a four-step cancel flow: Choose a plan → Review plan changes → Cancelation survey → Confirmation.
On the plan picker, select the Free plan and click Get Free. That is how Typeform cancels a paid subscription — you are downgrading to Free, not deleting the account. If you are on a Growth plan, open the Individuals tab first; Free lives there, not under Teams or Enterprise.
The Review plan change screen lists Plus (or your tier) features you will lose — branding removal, custom subdomain, file uploads, payments, and similar — next to a Your new plan card for Free (10 responses/mo, 1 seat). Click Continue to survey. The page notes the downgrade is not complete until you finish the cancelation survey.
Typeform opens its own exit survey ("You're almost done! Before you go…"). Click Continue, answer the questions (whether you will replace Typeform, why you are stopping, optional free-text feedback), and click Submit at the end. Leaving the survey unfinished leaves your paid plan active — Typeform's help center is explicit about that.
Mid-survey, Typeform may pitch "No worries! You can connect to thousands of apps via Zapier" with a Connect Typeform to your tools with Zapier link. Click No thanks (or press Enter) to keep canceling — you do not need to set up an integration.
On Confirm cancelation, read the date your plan changes, then check "You understand that your plan will change on [date]." Until that box is checked, Cancel my plan stays disabled. Check it, then click the black Cancel my plan button on the Your new plan card.
You should see Your cancelation is confirmed with the date your plan changes and the Free response limit. Typeform also emails a confirmation — if it is missing, re-check Plan & billing. Click Continue to Workspaces; a header chip like "N days left on your plan" is a quick second check that the downgrade is scheduled. A Rate your experience popup is optional.
After canceling, Workspaces may show a chip like "N days left on your plan." Paid features keep working until the confirmation date. To reverse the pending Free downgrade, open Plan & billing, click Stop! I changed my mind, then Yes, stay on my existing plan.
Forms and past responses stay on the account after Free kicks in, but forms that use paid features (file upload, payments, Premium themes, and similar) can switch to trial mode and stop collecting until you remove those features or upgrade again. Export results from the Results panel before you strip paid question types — edits can affect stored responses.
Growth Flow's 14-day trial requires a card and converts to the recurring Growth price if you do nothing. Use the same Cancel my plan → Free flow before the trial ends if you do not want the charge. There is no pause option on prepaid Typeform plans — only cancel or downgrade.
RecurDash keeps track of what you're paying for and emails you before each renewal — so the next cancellation happens on your schedule, not after the charge. No bank login required.
