A 11-step walkthrough with real screenshots from the live cancel flow.
Sign in at the Miro dashboard, switch to the team that owns the subscription, then open Admin console → Billing. Under Billing actions, click Cancel subscription, continue through the reason screens, and confirm with the final Cancel subscription button. Paid features stay active until the end of the current billing period; Miro does not refund unused time, and boards become view-only rather than being deleted.
The next renewal is the one you won't. RecurDash keeps the list and emails you before each charge lands.
No account, no bank login.

See Miro's pricing, tiers, and difficulty score in one page. Miro ranks #86 of 258 by cancellation difficulty.
Select the team whose Starter or Business subscription you want to end. Only a Team Admin, Company Admin, or Billing Admin can cancel. If Billing or Cancel subscription is missing, confirm that you are in the correct team and ask an admin or the cardholder to complete the cancellation.
From the dashboard, click your profile avatar in the top-right corner, choose Admin console (some layouts say Settings), then click Billing in the left sidebar. The Billing Overview shows your plan, renewal date, payment method, and Billing actions.
Under Billing actions, click Cancel subscription. Miro's current flow opens a dialog where you click Continue to cancel. Some accounts show a "Goodbyes are never easy" warning first; review the paid features and the end-of-period date, then use the cancellation button rather than Back to settings.
Business accounts may get an extra choice between canceling and changing plans. Select Cancel subscription, then click the Cancel subscription button to stay on the full cancellation path. Choosing a downgrade schedules a different plan instead of ending paid renewal.
Select the reason that best matches why you are leaving. The Continue to cancel or Next button stays disabled until you choose an option. The separate offer to speak with Miro researchers is not required to cancel.
After selecting a reason, click Continue to cancel (older layouts label this button Next). Do not choose the research-interview email option unless you genuinely want Miro to contact you; it is separate from the cancellation.
Miro may ask a more specific follow-up reason or whether you are switching to another tool. Select a required radio option, leave the free-text box blank unless you want to add context, then click Submit or Continue to cancel.
Click the final Cancel subscription button. Miro displays a confirmation dialog and emails every team admin. If a "Thanks for your feedback" panel with community boards appears, close it, return to Billing, and verify that an expiration date or Reactivate subscription action is shown.
A 14-day Business trial has its own Cancel trial action. Free-plan trials use Billing → Licensing configuration → Cancel trial; Starter and legacy Business trials use Admin console → Billing → Subscription → Plan → Cancel trial. Finish the reason screen before the trial expires to prevent conversion to a paid Business plan.
Cancellation alone does not automatically put the team on Free. When the paid period expires, choose Free on the plan-selection screen if you want editable access under Free limits. Otherwise every board stays locked in view-only mode, though Miro does not delete the boards.
Canceling stops future renewal, but it does not erase money already owed for extra licenses. Miro says an unpaid additional-license invoice can be charged to the registered card immediately. With invoicing, canceling before the first invoice is paid downgrades the team to Free immediately; paid invoices keep features active through the paid period.
RecurDash keeps track of what you're paying for and emails you before each renewal — so the next cancellation happens on your schedule, not after the charge. No bank login required.
