Rebuilt pricing pages, price alerts, and five new guides

Most of the three weeks since the last entry went into the pricing pages: each one now draws the comparison its plans actually need.

New

  • Pricing pages built around how each service sells — every pricing page now picks its layout from the plans themselves: what each plan includes side by side on Netflix, a storage ladder on iCloud+, per-seat prices with a team-of-five total on Asana, credit allowances on Higgsfield, student and family plans on YouTube Premium, and a per-serving rate card on Blue Apron. The big number is always what you're actually charged, and any figure we worked out ourselves is labeled "our math".
  • Price-change emails — the 47 services we check every night now offer an email when their price changes, right on the pricing page (see Netflix). Sign up from any pricing page and the service is already open in your add form, and once you track it, the daily digest tells you when its price moves.
  • Save your audit with Google — on the spending audit, "Continue with Google" now saves your picks to a free account in one step.

Improved

  • Free trials and closed plans on pricing pages — pages show a standing free trial where the service offers one, a note when buying in the app costs something different, and plans closed to new subscribers under "No longer sold" (see Cursor).
  • The latest price change, under the price — when the main plan's price moved in the last year, the line under it says so. Hulu reads "Up $0.50 (+4.2%) from $11.99 on Sep 29, 2026."
  • The real charge for plans billed every few months — Centr, Future and Mobbin now show what you pay every 3 or 6 months instead of a monthly equivalent.
  • Cursor's guide, rewritten — the Cursor guide now starts by working out who bills you: new plans are part of The X Subscription and cancel at grok.com, while older Pro, Pro+ and Ultra plans cancel through Stripe.
  • Screenshots on ten more guides — Prime Video, Cash App Mobile, Clay, Check Pro, Fixtured, Givingli, Oportun Set & Save, Stardust, [untitled] and Vocabulary - Learn words daily now show each screen of the cancel flow.
  • Analytics that sees less — our product analytics no longer receives the names or prices of your subscriptions, or the services you pick in the audit, and browsers set to a European time zone get no analytics cookies. The privacy policy now lists exactly what analytics gets and what Google sign-in shares.

Fixed

  • Deleting an account made with Google — Settings asked for a password these accounts never had. You now confirm by typing your email address.
  • Stray code in 24 cancel guides — steps on Monzo, Revolut, Render and 21 more showed raw formatting code as text. They read as plain text now.
  • Price-change dates that weren't changes — 34 services on the pricing index showed a "last change" date that was really the day we started tracking them. We cleared those, and moving a plan between monthly and yearly billing at the same cost no longer counts as a change.

New services & guides

Five more subscriptions you can track and cancel with a step-by-step guide.

  • Ro: Ro bills the Ro Body membership and each medication separately, and stopping one never stops the other, so cancel both at least 48 hours before renewal.
  • Meetup: organizer plans and Meetup+ cancel on separate pages, and closing your groups doesn't stop the charges.
  • Insight Timer: cancel MemberPlus where you pay for it, on the website, with Apple or in Google Play. Unused time isn't refunded.
  • Miro: switch to the team that owns the subscription first. Boards turn view-only rather than being deleted.
  • ReciMe: billed through Apple, and a trial needs cancelling at least 24 hours before it renews.

Pricing data

  • Cursor restructured its plans: Plus $8, Premium $30, Super $100 and Ultra $200 a month. Pro, Pro+ and the old Ultra are closed to new subscribers.
  • ESPN+ Select is $13.99 a month and Unlimited $31.99, up from $11.99 and $29.99.
  • Hulu is $12.49 a month, up from $11.99, and the $1.99 student plan is gone.
  • Spline replaced Starter and Professional with Hobby, Pro and Max. Pro is $30 a month.
  • Rocket Money Premium starts at $7 a month, and from November 2, bill negotiation comes only with Premium+ at $15 a month.
  • Blue Apron no longer sells weekly plans: meal kits start at $7.49 a serving, plus $11.49 shipping.
  • Microsoft 365 added Pro at $99.99 a month, Epidemic Sound added Pro Plus at $79.99 a month, and Quizlet added a Family plan at $83.99 a year for five accounts.
  • Grammarly Premium is now Grammarly Pro.
